This is because the Northern Ireland Land Registry is an entirely different organisaton even though Northern Ireland is actually in the United Kingdom. We are planning on getting this data added within the month, I will keep you updated on it.

You can ring the relevant section of the Land Registry and if you get someone helpful they will tell you whether your house sale was registered. It's supposed to be! Otherwise their website landregisteronline.gov.uk - it will cost you £3 to find out which isn't too bad.
Doesn't solve the problem of greedy owners claiming their flats are worth 50k more than the LR or free websites suggest though, does it :rolleyes:0 -

wow I didn't know about that site.
See this article on how important is location. I think it's interesting, not only the price but also the location:

We are trying to find out how much our vendors paid for the house we are intending to buy. I dont need this information, but i would like it to see how much the market has increased.
However, they bought this house back in 1999/2000 and it doesnt seem to go up any further.
Where would i find this information - anyone know?!!0 -
This information is not available to the general public for property bought before the year 2000...0

So thats a no no then - will never find this info out?? Only unless we were cheeky to ask the current vendors. But i guess that wouldnt go down well ?!0
