I have just picked up 3 different packets of bults. £1 each
One pack had 40 bulbs in, one had 50 bulbs and one had 35 bulbs in it.
These are much more expensive at garden centres or say B & Q.
They are all in good order and not sprouting too.0 -
i don't know if this is already been posted but don't bother buying cotton wool pads from poundland. they sell them 2 packs for £1. you have to use about 3 and liquid still seeps through!"I believe in manicures. I believe in overdressing. I believe in primping at leisure and wearing lipstick. I believe in pink. I believe happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day and... I believe in miracles."

I've got some bargains in Poundland, but the following are the exception:
Universal remote control: Useless, it doesn't tell you on the front of the package what TVs it (might) work for so you buy a 'pig in a poke'.
The computer vacuum cleaner- nothing like enough sucking power.
All the batteries, as someone has said.0 -
was just reading about the batteries getting a slating....the zinc ones are rubbish but for digital cameras the Kodak alkaline ones are on par with some of the more expensive ones!..I've got a fuji s8000, takes 4 AAs and these ones I buy all the time!..I can get about 100 photos out of it, more if I don't keep looking back and deleting on my camera!lol
just avoid zinc seriously!
just to add that the ones I get are in a pack of 6 and gold coloured. You may walk and you may run
You leave your footprints all around the sun
And every time the storm and the soul wars come
You just keep on walking0 -
I've tried the Kodak batteries in my kodak camera and some batches will not even turn it on. Some work for a little whileNot been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/1550

Some of the fruit (the blueberry ones certainly) are little more than dead twigs.
The asparagus crowns usually look dead too.
Ratchet screwdrivers where the ratchet doesn't always engage or the rubber cover on the handle slips over it.
Floodlight bulbs don't last long.
AA cells
Non-stick baking tins are very thinly coated.
The black stick solar garden light things are poor - the top knocks off easy and the wires are only lightly soldered on.
Car bulbs - headlights okay but the collection of bulbs with stop/brake etc are poor quality to the point that one of the stop/brake ones interfered with my side lights.0
