I picked up a 4mp yesterday whilst stocks lasted, then have proceeded since to try and get a 5mp one (intended to take back the 4mp if i could find one). Have tried 4 Superdrugs in my area tho, all sold out of the 5mp.
But have noticed some on the forum opting for the 4mp when they have the choice of the 5mp. I am fairly happy with the 4mp as second digital camera, however one thing that really niggles me about it is it not having an optical viewfinder on it like the 5mp, that plus the smaller LCD screen footprint definitely to me means that the 5mp is far more a better deal for just £5 more for the lucky ones that got their hands on it. Oh well should have gone on friday to check the deals, you snooze you loose...all in all though relatively happy, and for those that haven't bought one at all, I have seen 4mp still in my local Superdrugs, worth checking your locals today at least for the 4mp, for £27.50 with the 10% coupon its still a stellar deal.0 -
I've managed to get hold of a 5MP camera today at Runcorn Superdrug. Really really pleased with it :T They had quite a few at the counter for anyone who is interested. Good luck to everyone still hunting for themI also remember the words of my friends, but I would rather have enemies than friends like you
would like to make it known that ZubeZubes avvy is a DHN, she's not dancing0 -
I only manged to get 4mp even though had the chance to buy which ever as I was there on friday right in moringing, the 1 gig card takes 452 photos in our camera. I also tried atleast 4 stores all sold out and just have concord 3.2 and one store said they had 3mp vivar maybe they dont know their cameras.
Anyway thanks for the ops on both threads defo a bargain0 -
Got mine today (the 5mp were all gone), well chuffed.
Thanks again for the post.0 -
No 5mp or 4mp for me. Tried both stores in Coventry yesterday but they'd sold out of all Vivitar on Saturday, hed to go Leamington today and managed to bag a 3mp for £18 (using 10% coupon). Have just tried it and think it's great as a second camera. It's red as well, which will please DD no end when she gets home.some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it0

Thanks.
approx 3-5 seconds depending on batteries.
For those who cant get a 4mp or 5mp you could always buy one off ebay, all of a sudden they are starting to appear on there.0 -
