I'm Looking for a cheap spare digcam to my Canon A510 - does this Vivitar have a video/TV out socket?

Yes it does, not tested it but cables come in the box for it. :)
    (Well the 5MP one does)
  • Just thought I'd just add my two pennies worth. Well worth getting, I work for a camera store and through this I've learnt that essentially Vivitar is Hitatchi. Its well worth the money, especially when there are indentical cameras to this about under Hitatchi at Argos for double, sometimes triple the price!

My partner has tried a 2gb card in the 4mp one, and it did recognise it.
If its crucial...our card was a Kingston branded).

Rushed out to my large High Street branch and they are sold out, so I rushed over to the smaller branch and they have loads of 4 and 5 mp in stock. I opted for the 4mp (with coupon of course).

    Thanks OP

In the 4345 manual it says up to 512MB card, anybody else tried a bigger capacity card in it?

I've got a 1gb KeyMem (the cheapest 7dayshop sell!) card in mine and it's working fine.

i dont understand why most of the people on this forum are going for the 4mp camera instead of the 5mp especially since the price difference is only £5!!!!

Because that's all that was left ? The difference on a final print is not very much anyway.

We just picked up the last 4MP Vivitar at Pontefract and it's ace. One very happy eight-year old here.
