I'm still being very good - no skincare or cosmetics so far. However with the long hours I'm doing at work, I do NEED a new concealer as my current one has just run out.I wanna be Mortgage Free by February 20130

Finished off a load more things this week
Lg bath oil
Solid Shampoo
Moisturiser
Night Cream (sm size)
Moisturiser used on neck
Deoderant
Travel size cleanser
Face Wash
Body Lotion
Brought more down from the stash drawer which is emptying nicely!
Also made me smile when I noticed that another shelf on the bathroom storage unit is now used for cleaning products and spares instead of beauty stuff.
Meaning over the last year 2 shelves have changed use!
2 Shelves less products at long last!
Next goal is to not buy another thing and remain strong for Beauty Day next week and L'Occitane TSV and continue to use up the stocks
Onto L'Occitane Shampoo and Conditioner now for the next few weeks so will see how this is for daily usefinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Still going strong, tho had to come on and post to remind me to stay strong as i ended up on the shopping challenge with the Elizabeth grant specials on. I do need to get some vitamin C serum at some point and this looks to be good value but Its going to have to wait because atm I cant afford it. Ok Ive now changed channels lol. Ive been using tinted nivea moisturiser mixed with my UC 30+ moisturiser as it is way too dark on its own and Ive had it forever and realllllly want to use it up! Ive got a mini aim to have finished 14 products in my bathroom by the end of march, to encourage me to finish off those things that only have a little bit left. Currently I am up to 3 but I still think i can do it:D
Hope everyone is doing well:jThailand 3010/15000 20150 -
Hi all,
I am feeling very ashamed of myselfI hadn't subscribed to this thread and completely forgot all about it!! I just saw on my calendar that I had marked the end of the 100 day challenge and thought to myself "what the hell is that?!" :rotfl:
Needless to say I havent stuck to my goalsAlthough I am starting to get into the exercise now (actually 4 times last week!) but mystery shopping has been very thin on the ground recently so I've been lucky to get 1 a week let alone 3!
But I will do my bit for this last stretch and then make sure I actually do it when the next one comes along!! Remind me to subscribe!!! :rotfl:2019 will be my year!!0 -
Never mind Kayleigh, may be next tine
Only 8 days to go, and I'm still doing well..... Does anyone want to volunteer to do another challenge, or shall I do? I don't mind either way...

Better get my thinking cap on for the next one. Then again maybe it is time for me to take a break??2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0

It's definitely not time for me to take a break.
I can control most things eg cleaning products, cloths and shoes etc no problem.
Toilettries, cosmetics and skincare still needs attention - my next fully thought through aim is to not buy another thing unless I run out
I failed on a few counts around christmas time - the highly tempting TSVs on QVC from Elemis and Decleor. I have thought long and hard about this and going cold turkey is the only thing that is left, then control afterwards.
Not watching much QVC these days (thankfully!).
I have a proper thought out plan to cope with the next Beauty Day - I have had a plan before but not as thought out as this one
Get up
Take dog on a long long walk
Finish of cleaning and ironing
Watch Rugby in the afternoon
Watch a DVD
Have a bath and use up some of the many face masks etc in the cupboard
So for me this part of my life runs deep - I can stop smoking, reduce alcohol use to sensible levels and yet this is one thing that has eluded me so far. So I need to consider it in the same way - it controls me and QVC aids this and I let it happen.
I will tackle this part of my life - I have already started and haven't bought anything for a while now. I've chucked some cheaper brands away after I started with eczma again last year and had to see what aggrevated it.
I bought these when on offer and downshifting brands while justifying it to myself that they cost no where near as much as I used to spend. So I avoid these isles in the supermarket and Boots now which helps
My challenge is simple, one day at a time, use every last thing up and really truly and honestly only buy when have run out. And always remember one day at a time, day by day it goes
Just had a thought - what about a monthly challenge or pledge rather than 100 days.
Eg pledge not to buy for 30 days - skincare, toilettries make up
We could take it in turns to score, mind you Sar, it might just be us 2 left!
Sorry for prattling on, feel better now it is out!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -

I haven't been on here for such a long time:o
My challenge is going quite well:) I have been walking kids to school except in the rain, exercising 2-3 times per week and I haven't bought any cleaning products:T
I haven't included make up/beauty items this time but I thought I'd tell you what I've used up anyway:)
1 Clinique moisturiser
1 packet of facial wipes
2 mascaras
1 Lancome Moisturiser

That's fine FedUp, we'll keep each other going
I like the idea of monthly...
