  • I *think* its the same as in decorating, i.e you put it on your face before the [STRIKE]paint[/STRIKE] foundation *shrugs shoulder smiley*

    I don't wear much make-up, so I'm not sure :o

  • Just about the halfway point for me, as I joined late. still managing to be alcohol-free, very nearly had a wobble yesterday though. I've volunteered to be a guinea-pig for the local sports science department, and after a very hard workout yesterday the bottle of beer that's been sitting in our fridge since Christmas was calling to me...

On the plus side, i've dropped half a stone since giving up booze and snacks, so it's amazing the effect it has

Primer is the layer before foundation and can smooth out the skin, make it feel smoother, start to put a bit of coverage on or even out the skin tone and some are a little illuminating.

The foundation then should go on a little easier and hopefully use less

So yes the decorating analogy is right - prime the walls first then decorate!

Finally brought some toiletries. Hair conditioner and deodorant. Nearly finished the ones I got. Used advantage points to get hair conditioner and went to Wilkinsons to get deodorant. Saved some money at least.

Well its the 31st Jan and I still haven't bought any new toiletries. There are lots of offers around and so far I'm resisting as it will only add to the stash I already have.

    Quick update.

If we forget the cycling pledge altogether, doing well on the other items.
Still plenty of books, perfume and lipstick. I am considering signing for another 100 days on these. I think I should include another item. We are not finished though. (Let's not sell the bear skin til it's killed)

Don't miss those £2.50 soya lattes a much as I thought I would:j:jInstead, I'll make my own at home. A packet of fresh coffee cost less than a takeaway soya latte. :eek::eek:

Still not buying toiletries. I've got so much I reckon I need to do 1000 more days.:):)
