Don't want to tell you about this. It flies off the shelves. Lidl Tarragona

Try Sainsbury's own Hungarian Pinot Grigio for £3.99! It is a real bargain and it is lovely too!0

I find a Spanish red called Marino suits my palate. Tesco sell it at around £3.50. O.K. alone or with meals/nibbles.0

I'm not much of a wine drinker, however I do like a bottle or two of Asda's mulled wine, since last year it's gone up 2p to £2.00 per bottle. Nice sweet taste with a hint of cinnamon:beer:0

wine: Chilean Sauvignon Blaunc
Year: -
Price: £3.32
Where: Tesco
It's light and citrusy and goes well with fish, seafood or light chicken dishes (and it's fine on it's own too).
They have a Chilean Chardonnay in the same style of packaging too for a few pence more but I've never tried that one.
Hi There, Sainsbury's seem to do the same one, Chilean 13% £3.22 but I will give yours a try too....:beer:0 -
It's a bit of a faff, but what I did was sign up for Virgin Wine's wine club with a £40 off voucher from Lovefilm. I then ordered a £79.99 case of reds (reduced to £39.99 - £3-odd a bottle). They will also send a 'welcome' case and charge another £89 for this - but when you receive it just email/call them to say you don't want the welcome case, or to be in the club. They arranged collection and refunded the £89 - leaving me with just the case of red.
Like I say, it's a bit of a performance, but worth it for wines that are worth around £10 a bottle for £3-odd a bottle!0 -
lidl have a german reisling 2008 for £3.00 that is really quite pleasant 'mid-week' drinking. chill well.

Go to Netto. We have just enjoyed an excellent £2.99 (12%) Italian wine, and have a stack of other £2.99 white wines to try. Netto's wines are clean, crisp and fruity. Not the world's greatest shakers and movers in respect of wine, and will not be featured in the FT's good wines list, but, given that most folk want a good 'glug' of something fruity, we can only suggest go to Netto, read the labels, decide if you fancy it, and take a bottle. There are some jolly good wines out there.0

Most of the BOGOF and half price deals are just a con. The wines were never worth £7.99, or whatever. Frankly they're barely worth half that.

I've thought that too for ages - especially Morrisons - I would never pay £7.99 or more for those particular wines that they say are "now half-price!"0 -
If you like New Zealand Sauvignons then try Fern Bay at Tescos. Under a fiver (just!) but is the best cheap NZ sauvignon I've found by a long way.0
