the £1.99 house rose at aldi is lush, very much like blossom hill, only 8% so its not to strong , the house white is the same price and pecentage but is a little sweet for me0

there is a lovely one in home & bargains at the moment which used to be sold in sainsburys - a ros! combination of grenache and zinfadel - £3 odd - tremendous!0

I got a really nice Chilean Cabernet Sauvingnon for £3 from Asda last week. It's called "Winemakers". Only trouble is, it's run out

Just visited Tesco and there was a shelf edge label showing a Californian White down from £4.08 to £2.04.
Can't remember the name and there were none left. But worth looking out for.0 -

Lidl currently doing Cimarosa Merlot/Cabernet Sauvignon at 3 for £9. South African. Not tried either yet but will report later

Dead easy - and especially if you're veggie or vegan. Head for the Co-op and take a look at their own brand wines. They always say on the back if they're vegetarian or vegan and they always have sales on so take a look. I've found in my local store that they can switch between the same supplier so an old label might be still on the display even if the promotion has finished and another wine is now cheaper. Take either to the till and you'll get it at the promotional price (usually £4.25). Enjoy0
