            Jacobs Creek sparkling rose is £5 in Asda at the moment.0

            Found this site, looks like up to 50 Tesco wines are half price & not just the usual Hardy's Crest, Galloway Crossing et al - proper reductions -
 Also M&S have 25% off all wines, plus I love NZ Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc and it's £5.69 for a bottle of Wither Hills at Waitrose. www.supermarketwinereviews.com :T0

            Has anyone tried those "make your own wine" kits from tesco (i've also seen them in wilkinsons)? I know that at £9.99 a pack they're not technically sub-£5 but it claims to make 6 bottles, so it would be a little over £1.60 each. There are a few different varieties to choose from (merlot, chardonnay etc).
 Seems tempting but I don't want to waste the money if it's gonna taste like a sewer!0

            To reply to my own post, I just found this review online. Very interesting!
 You can buy an all in one pack for £19.99 I believe (making 6 bottles), then just buy the refill packs at £9.99 each. So effectively you pay £10 for 6 bottles and £10 set up cost.
 Edit: I was not allowed to post a link but if you go on ciao.co.uk and add "/Young_s_Wine_Buddy_5_gallon_7_day_Wine_Kits__Review_5747717" without the quotation marks you should be fine.0

            Surprised the Aldi sub-£3 wines don't feature here.
 I've worked my way through them and been very impressed by the Budavar (Hungarian) wines.
 Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon
 Chardonay and Sauvignon Blanc
 All £2.99 0 0

            I haven't read the whole thread (sorry!) but just wanted to post that both Netto and Home & Bargain do some FAB wines for £3.99 or less. In fact Netto ones are often only £2.99, and they will quite often be ones that are around £7 in Tesco's!! I rarely go anywhere else for wine - except occasionally Asda or Tesco for a good 3 for £10 offer.0

            @BigBadAndy
 Just checked out the supermarketwinereviews website to source a dry white, really easy to use. Also some good recipes and food wine pairings on there.0
