Don't make the mistake of leaving them on your doorstep they just replicate faster than Japanese knotweed.Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0

i use these bags as bin bags as well. I have complained to Trading Standards about the many dubious ones which drop quietly through my letterbox. I phoned them today about a leaflet for charity collection, lots of dodgy stuff about this particular one online. I absolutely hate these things, there should be more that Trading Standards could do to stop them collecting.0

i too see them as free bin liners - so thanks dodgy charities!0

The other week we had one from the RNLI. I didn't fill my bag, as I'd already filled a couple the previous week for the British Heart Foundation..... anyway, those on my road who HAD filled these RNLI bags still had them waiting for collection a couple of days later. They had to send them elsewhere as no one had picked them up.Sealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 declared0

They are great for emptying my shredder because they are big enough to fit over the top so I can tip it upside down:j.0

Round here it seems the 'dodgy' collectors just shove a leaflet through without a bag, expecting you to provide you own. Nuts to that.
The 'possibly more legit but I'm still not convinced' ones that provide bags are used for bin liners 99% of the time unless we've got something to give to charity.0 -
What get's me with a lot of them is when you read the small print that comes with the bags. A lot of the time the donations are sold by the ton as "rags" and the charity gets a pittance for it. They would get a lot more money if it was taken to the shop itself so that they can sell it.0

Our house was empty for a couple of months and we counted 26 bags left for us to fill. How can we generate that much stuff? We had a note saying no circulars but the people who drop these off think this does not apply to them.0
