Holiday prize draw from dive show.SCAM beware!

unbelievable. Shamsul from holiday home phoned again.He swears its not a timeshare or holiday club. Now he says over 80 people were selected to win the holiday? and arent we lucky.
I mentioned that when you really win something all the costs are covered and you wouldnt need to travel to collect your prize and prove your identity. he just started reeling off loads of irrelevant rubbish, before I hung up on him.

I too have just received a phone call on this.

The man who phoned said there was nothing to pay and all we had to do was attend Warwick to collect the prize in person.

I think I should call back...

Has anyone actually been to collect yet ?

There might not be anything to pay on the night, so to speak.
But read OP and you will see that they want you to be earning in excess of
£25000 jointly. Now why would they want to know your income ?
Because they want YOU to PAY for something.

Remember there is no such thing as a free lunch.

Stay at home and watch telly.

Have read messages regarding Holiday House at the Nunhold Business Centre, Warwicks. Been awarded a holiday, letter denying it's timeshare, but when I entered their details on website, it found says that they are, in other guises. Tried other websites to get info, but they can't be found, so will go on everyone's advice and not turn up even though we didn't turn up on another occasion through illness. Tried to email to cancel our visit, but there doesn't seem a facility for that either! So like one of your correspondents states, it must be dodgy.

We have also "won" this holiday (we entered a competition at the SNow and Ski show at the NEC)
Doing some reseach it seems that Holiday House operate out the exact address as the Classic Line Shakesphere Company who have over 500 complaints. There is a thread on this site about it. If you search on Google for the following it will come up as the first hit:

If anyone has bought timeshare from Shakespeare classic line or from Nunhold Business Centre, Warwick or Creech castle Taunton under another name please private message me, I will give you my contact details and details of people that are there to help. I am already in contact with another purchaser who is not happy and feels mislead. I am advised that if we have enough people showing that we have all been told similar stories to gain our trust and confidence to gain sales we have a better chance of cancelling our agreements.

Hi guy's yes your all probley right it is time share and I dont know if there a good company or not but don't be so down on timeshare I have owned a timeshare in Greece for nearly 10 years now.
I have been back to greece a couple of times other than that I have had 5 star holidays world wide....If you know how to use the system (and its not that hard) you can get some fantastic holidays....I also worked in the timeshare industry for a number of years there are some good companies out there..time share is sold worldwide to all nationallities and the likes of Americans, Canadians, Auzzies and Chinese love it a spend millions on it yearly its just us Brits that convince ourself's its all a scam. Resurch the company yes defo but try and be a little bit more open about time share its a great way to have 5/6 star hols....Try and find exchange company II rather than RCI:T

Timeshare as a concept is just fine.

It's just that it attracts very much more than its fair share of crooks who want to charge a large multiple of its true value and if possible not deliver at all

Hi, I've just had the same phone call saying i've won a holiday. Very nice...really?! I dont think so! I entered loads of competitions to win holidays at the dive show so i was really excited at my voice mail message saying i needed to ring about a holiday i had won there. Guess what, i've got to go to Warwick to claim the prize and "its got nothing to do with timeshares or anything like that". Really, i think not! Appraently it's a new company thats just been set up, again i think not. I thought i would do a goole hit for anything realting to winning a hotel break at the dive show and this forum was near the top of the list. Good to know its not just me who was sceptical over it all. To be honest though that hint of curiosity is making me wonder if anyone has actually been to 'claim their prize' yet and what they had to endure. I wont be wasting my hard earned weekend days in finding out.
