Afternoon all
Been to town, had a lovely wander around. Got DS2's present which was too heavy to bring home on my bike.:o Fortunately my lovely friend's house is right in town so stopped to ask her if she would keep it for me and stayed for a cuppa and lunch and she is dropping present to me when she passes my house later. Had a lovely time.Penelope_Penguin wrote: »Has your DS1 decided what to do next year
He is staying on to do A Levels - history and geography but stuck on the other one/two. He wants to do a degree in geography but is not keen on the other options - physics and maths are possibles (you need them for meteorology) but very hard (his maths teacher is shocking so he is not doing great). English he is good at but not as keen on. Meeting next week to help with option choices.MissHiggerty wrote: »:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Glad you are home and get that heating on to warm you up girl. Silly question coming up - would a dehumidifier help with our awful condensation

JillD - glad things are moving along with your DS
Hugs to all the poorly and miserable ones.
Well, I was looked after today. It was threatening rain when I left work but still dry when I got home. 10 minutes later, the heavens opened and no-one's shut them yet. It's also v. dark and windy.
I am unlikely to get much flying done as I can't do dysoning in the dark!I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

bk.. DS was fine.. he chose to have anaesthetic rather than being awake so we had to stay a bit longer than anticipated.. then they didn't give him lunch they 'missed him out'.. though they wouldn't let him home until he had eaten... so I stropped.. We had asked and waited until the nurse had dealt with a poorly little boy then he went for his lunch forgetting about DS.. then I got hungry.. I must do something about this .. I am evil when hungry.. I had a mini growl so Ds GOT TOAST WHICH HE SCARFED IN SECONDS... while we got to watch while ur tummies growled.. They came to remove the canula.. and DS goes all faint and flaky so we had to stay a bit longer while he recovered so I eventually got food at 2:15.. cornish pasty, beans, sausages and 2 chocolate muffins... *burp*
Jill.. do you have one of the sensory assessments? if not photocopy/scan the one you have and fill it in as well and send both back.. then they can compare how he is at home and at school.. we had 3 for DS2. I did one, school teacher did one and support staff did one too. We all said pretty much the same. Hope you get DS sorted soon.. it isn't a diagnosis to label him it is a diagnosis so you can understand why he is as he is and support him in life so he can truly blossom! It is a long hard road so good luck xxx
