((hugs)) to everyone who has CBA-itis at the mo, seems to be rather a lot of it about
MissH - hope you have a better day today, not sure what the phone call was about, but I have one with my Mum today, bless her etc but I never come off the phone cheery
Thanks JillD - just a lot of family bickering about X**s and who has hurt whose feelings! The stupid thing is that it is all crossed wires, and I'm caught in the middle unable to put a stop to it all..... :embarasse
I'm feeling much better today - and at least I did a bit of gardening and cooking yesterday.
In my HHC (which went on rather a long time!) I managed my Bathroom/Study (with a few substitutions which I hope are OK, Toots)
Thursday ~ Bathroom and study.. DONE :j
Level One
[STRIKE]Declutter floors[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Clean bath, loo, shower.. etc etc.. you get the idea.. [/STRIKE]
Level Two
[STRIKE]Mop/vacuum floors[/STRIKE], and hoovered the ceilings, lights, velux windows in the bathroom
[STRIKE]Wipe the desk keyboard monitor etc.. [/STRIKE] I can see the screen now!!!! How did it get like that in the space of 1 week??
[STRIKE]Pull out the desk and clean under and behind..
[/STRIKE] Will have to get my DH to help me do ths another time (it's massive and heavy), but I poked the nozzle down the back and did my best. I also cleaned the landing outside the bathroom, and washed the windows to let the sunshine in.
[STRIKE]15 minutes filing[/STRIKE] This is DH's job; but I sorted out the wrapping paper drawer and worked out what paper and X**s cards I needed, and binned lots of small pieces of paper too small to wrap anything.
Level Three
[STRIKE]Clean doors[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Empty and wash out bins[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Clean radiators/fires in these rooms[/STRIKE]
Must go and do some potatoes now for the shepherd's pie. Oh - and whoever it was who mentioned bacon butties has set me off craving one - must defrost some bacon immediately, for lunch! :rotfl:
Thanks ladies :T:T:T Good to be flying again.
MissH

[Sorry for OT post.]
Blimey. Just opened a letter from the hospital. As you know I've been trying to see about getting DS assesssed for behavioural issues. GP had referred him and I made the appointment but paediatrician cancelled it saying we needed to push it via school. Hassle hassle. And wasted time.
So this mornings letter is from someone else at the hospital saying we are on the waiting list for the DLC, and with a bunch of forms to fill in in the meantime, for us AND school to fill in, and school's have to come back via me so I get to see what school think too without school being funny about it (not that they were being funny, I was just worried in case they were).
One of the questionnaires is a Sensory checklist. I am so pleased they have included this, I have said for years that he has sensory problems (eg seemingly can't hear/won't listen/but light sleeper and freaks out to mixer/hand-driers/blender etc) but never knew how to raise it or who to talk to without sounding like a complete fussy parent.
On brief inspection of the sensory list his funny habits are ticking a lot of boxes on the "Auditory" section (mongst others) so I wonder if they will pursue that avenue. The thought of getting a diagnosis is just great. I know its wrong to "want" there to be something "wrong" but I am desperate for some reassurance that yes he is a bl00dy demanding child and that I am not just a huge whinger and that its not all my fault, and also on a less selfish note, that we will get some recommendations for ways to manage his behaviour.
I was supposed to be meeting the SENCO this afternoon and she was supposed to be doing an observation of DS this week but he's been off sick all week  so that will have to wait til next week. On the plus side I can give her the school forms today and that gives her a chance to do them so its all done for when we meet next week.Jan GC: £202.65/£450 (as of 4-1-12)

She is a great baker and prob will have made a cake herself, but we all did a surprise one for everyone' else's birthday so I think she deserves one too. Must dig out card for her too.
If time, I will prob just declutter kitchen and poss a bit in spare room. Dont know where the time's gone today......

Hope your all okay when you have your flu/swine jabs. i had a flu jab last week, really shook me up, was so tired from it.
Haven't done the middle room /study/office /playroom yet as i'm decorating it at the same time. so may not get fully done today.
Just had a well earned cuppa, couldn't believe the bathroom. We have a toilet upstairs and bathroom + rotten cupboard(literally) downstairs. Its is full of damp so its really awful. Ended up throwing away 5 bags of various carp out of there. Hopefully next time it won't take as long. Ots smells so much nicer than it did.
Right i'm going to attempt the middle room.

I think you should probably get this looked at sooner rather than later pooh...poohbear59 wrote: »I wish I could post a picture of my swollen finger. It is completely purple, very pretty!
Decided not to go to bed as I have to get up again soon, so I have had some hot food, turned up the thermostat & rad thermostats to warm the house up. I'm going to have a shower and put some clean clothes on, possibly put some washing on and then see whether i can get a bit of shopping done before my facial/massage. I might even have the energy to potter about a bit when I get back, but I definitely need a bath and an early night today!0
