  • Had a really good in the kitchen, DS slept for 2hrs, which helped loads!

    Couple more jobs to do to get my 1st star!
    I also got my wedding anniversary present (a month late) which is a magimix nespresso, which I will pkay with tonight.

    Monday~ Kitchen of Grot and Dining Room of Gloom
    Level One
    Declutter and mop/vacuum the floors
    [STRIKE]Clear and wipe the worksurfaces[/STRIKE]
    Level Two
    [STRIKE]Wipe the big appliances and units.. don't forget kickboards!

    Wipe small appliances and replace.. do one thoroughly.. descale or decrumb or degunge![/STRIKE]
    Clear a sticky dishevelled cupboard
    Level Three
    [STRIKE]Wipe the table[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Binbag dance![/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Clean the oven and hob..[/STRIKE] :D
    Extras
    1. Clean blinds/curtains and light fittings
    2. [STRIKE]Wash the windows [/STRIKE]
    3. HHI
    4. Take a freezer/fridge inventory and see if you can start using it up and making space for christmas goodies!!

    Back to work today and altho' I felt a bit wobbly and emotional managed it and feels nice to be back in the rat race and my usual normality. So back to normality it is and time to put the past behind me and stop dwelling.

    Cleaned some of the kitchen last night and might finish it off tonight. Did some exercise yesterday which I enjoyed and will be aiming to continue this week.

    Hope everyone else is ok and I'll try and catch up later on!

    Carol I am really sorry that your uni tutors are being so unfeeling. If your friend can help that is good but don't feel pressured to go back too soon if you are not ready. You need to think of yourself and your mum and brother.

    I live near Hexham and don't know where the cemetery is but I will look it out now. It sounds lovely.

    TAG no sorry honey I think it was picked up wrongly - there is no ebay challenge as such - its just me trying to get rid of my stuff and i need encouragement so Froddy said she would do it wth me as she had stuff to go too, Dusty is always ebaying and Wilf ebays like a woman possessed!!! so thats why there is a lot of talk of ebay - we are all trying to get rid and make money too.     Quillion I have just read the poem after reading everyone's comments, it brought a tear to my eye for so many reasons. I am a Royal Marine and very proud of it every day. It is good to see words like that, I oftern fear that people become immune to the deaths of our soldiers and it is good to read that lovely poem, PLEASE NO-ONE EVER FORGET THEM
