Big hugs for you Carol. It must make it even more difficult at this time of year. Thinking of you xx

Tootles - he's a little bit better but still getting pains in the evenings and early hours. Still waiting for a definite diagnosis.

    I've finished MONDAY's list and i've also;

    - picked stuff up from the wholesaler
    - picked stuff up from Argos
    - taken my dad to the optician
    - taken my mum to Waitrose
    - taken children to Tesco to get fruit and school uniform
    - taken them to M&S to see what size dressing gown I'll need to get them for Christmas
    - one washing load

No wonder i'm shattered - also full of a cold so i'll be sitting quietly in a corner doing what I can :o xx

    1. Wash the windows - have done the inside, outsides will be done on Wednesday when the window cleaner comes :D
Haven't read too far back, but wanted to send massive hugs and coping vibes to Carol - thoughts and prayers are with you and your family x

Big hugs to Toots and Lady-L, hope you're both ok, both of you are often very much in my thoughts.

Well, after being a right mardy cow for the last few weeks and finding it near on impossible to shake it off i've made the decision that i'm back in the hunt for a new job. There's nothing 'wrong' with the one i started in September but the workload is SOOOO much smaller then i'm used to i'm finding myself bored and frustrated with it all the time and it really isn't worth making myself miserable about. Some 'friends' can't understand why i feel like that and have been wonderfully supportive (NOT) whilst i've been down so today is the start of a new chapter and i'm gonna do what suits me best :o Sorry for the little rant, just needed to get it off my chest.

Lots of love and hugs as and where needed xx

Quillion I have just read the poem after reading everyone's comments, it brought a tear to my eye for so many reasons. I am a Royal Marine and very proud of it every day. It is good to see words like that, I oftern fear that people become immune to the deaths of our soldiers and it is good to read that lovely poem, PLEASE NO-ONE EVER FORGET THEM
Quillion I have finally braved reading it, and it is so sad but happy and uplifting at the same time..... lovely:T:A

hi all its my first day today....and i loved it. i have done the kitchen level 1 and 2 :)
i can now see my fridge as it no longer hiding behind a load of magnets and kids drawings... these will go into the kids momory box. around 4 loads of washing and washed all the curtains downstairs... feel proud today. my daughter is also interested in helping, so thats great.
just got to reteach the kids to put rubbish in the newly washed sparkling bin and put dirty washing in the washing basket. this will all take some getting used to but as they days go by i will get used to it all.... cant wait to see how things look in 6 months...
