    hi everyone

not had a chance to read through the thread, so I hope everyone is ok.

    Kitchen - Level One completed!

also did a few bits of level 2 - decrumbed the toaster, wiped kickboards and all appliances apart from fridge - its stainless steel (what a great idea, not) so that's quiet a long job which i will attempt later.

I have a question for you about mops - I've never had a mop, mainly because I don't know where I would store it. I've always cleaned the floors on my hands and knees with a brush or cloth. But now my knees are getting a bit dodgy so I often put off cleaning the floor properly I must confess. It would be easier on my knees to use a long handled mop - but where would I keep it. We do have a cupboard under the stairs, but I worry about things getting damp and smelly, as thats where I keep the ironing, also have bookshelves and computer in there (here)

so, if you don't have a utility room, where do you keep your mop?

sorry, didn't mean to waffle :o

We don't have a mop here as all floors are carpetted (not how I would choose to have it especially in the bathroom and kitchen), but Mum keeps her mop in the corner of the kitchen by the back door, or in the shed. She has one with a sponge on the end, and turns it up so the sponge is up in the air and drys out quickly instead of staying wet on the floor

I have been a busy bee today. The internet has been off so I have had to find something else to do.I have had a really good start today and seem to have loads of energy. I don’t know if it is the steroids or the codeine but something is working
    I have
Stripped our bed, aired it and remade it. I put dehumidifier on for an hour!
    Vacuumed lounge, diner, hall.
Cleared dining tables from last night’s party detritus.
Washed up all glasses. Haven’t emptied DW as leaving it for DH.
Fed dogs, cats, chickens. No eggs again!!
Did 6 minutes in 3 minute bursts on Wii
Now going to finish cleaning kitchen and clean mould off kitchen/diner walls.

As internet has just come back I haven't read back yet but I hope everyone is okay and hugs to everyone, not just those who need them!

    I have this one

    http://www.e-cloth.com/news/2009/5/7/ecloth-mop-set-best-for-scrubbing/

The head, which is cloth comes off and goes in the washer with the towels and gets dried so it is never put away damp;) mop head folds so takes up very little space. I don't think mopping will ever get a floor as clean as hands and knees cloth in hand but mind does a good job.

Just having a cuppa whilst the floor dries and then off to get DS3
