    Hi all
Just checking in before I head off for the school run (or should that be walk?). Had a good day today and have managed to achieve the following:

Monday~ Kitchen of Grot and Dining Room of Gloom
    Level One
    Declutter and mop/vacuum the floors
    [STRIKE]Clear and wipe the worksurfaces[/STRIKE]
    Level Two
[STRIKE]Wipe the big appliances and units.. don't forget kickboards![/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Wipe small appliances and replace.. do one thoroughly.. descale or decrumb or degunge![/STRIKE] Sorted the toaster
    [STRIKE]Clear a sticky dishevelled cupboard[/STRIKE]Baking cupboard done!
    Level Three
[STRIKE]Wipe the table and replace the cloth if necessary.
    Binbag dance!
Clean the oven and hob.. :D[/STRIKE]
    Extras
    1. Clean blinds/curtains and light fittings
    2. Wash the windows
    3. [STRIKE]HHI [/STRIKE]Done (I quite like doing the ironing)
[STRIKE]Take a freezer/fridge inventory and see if you can start using it up and making space for christmas goodies!!
[/STRIKE] Freezer almost empty, but plenty of ends to use up.

My kitchen used to have wooden bits attached to the bottoms of the top cupboards - I think they were to hide lighting (which we don't have) - I have now removed these and the kitchen now looks much clearer and bigger. We're having to replace the prehistoric boiler, so will need to wait a while for a new kitchen...I'm going to investigate painting the cupboards next...

Hope everyone is having a good day? Hugs to anyone who needs one.
    Take care
    D

Afternoon all - and welcome back lemanie.

And thanks for the job vibes. I think what I want is them to persuade the Dean to extend me where I am, on the same part time hours until that time at the end of December.

    Off to do the kitchen...
