HHC 3.30-4pm anyone? I'm going to put the timer on to do some more writing assessments. OH is home now so will ask him to sort out the washing. Hugs to rose - hope you feel better after your walk.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

  • I did it! hyper.gif Thanks AnW's, I wouldn't have even thought of it if you hadn't encouraged me! Heart is racing but it was quite nice to be outside in the sunshine. Walked up to the post box and posted some cards I've written

Going to watch Strictly and do some knitting until DH comes home. Not sure if he will be going out to play squash later or not, hope so, he enjoys it a lot.

He made me laugh earlier, I was having a bit of a weep and asked him for a cuddle, so he came over and hugged me and said: "have you got dandruff?" I thought: "Of all the things to say when your wife is crying!!" But it made me laugh, he does say the most stupid things! He is funny! :rotfl:

    Drainer cleared
    Washing on line
    Reloaded WM
    Washed dishes
Brought washing in as it started to rain:rolleyes:
    Loaded TD
Now need to put the other bits on the airer as the stuff that's already on the rads isn't dry because they aren't actually on.

Not sure what to do next. I've got a couple of things I could do with doing for work, I want a bath and I was thinking I could have an early one and I need to do some ironing.

  • Made it to the bottom of the ironing basket. Cleared up all the zillions of bits of broken and powdered rubber underlay that spread throughout the house and garden...

penguin sorry you have lost someone. I wasn't sure if pony or doggle. Very sad.
Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x
  • HHI & put away done, now to do some Ebay listing.

Small spanner though - DS has a roaring temperature, and after a sleep (unheard of for him in the day) he now has bright red cheeks, horrid cough, sore throat & so is medicated & tucked up with the poorly blanket, Daddy & Lost in Space. So unless we make a quick recovery I'll be home tomorrow...

Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

Snowball says too far away, working hard to bring it forward.

  • In my HHC that turned out to be almost an hour I:

    cleared and wiped worksurfaces
cleared and wiped windowledge in kitchen
    wiped table
    filled DW
    put WM on
cleared, sweeped and mopped hall and kitchen floors
    folded dry towels

Phew! Got quite a bit done there. I'm having a sit down for a bit and reserving some things on Argos to collect later in the week. It's DD1's birthday a week on Monday and she loves Ben 10 so she's getting some Ben 10 walkie talkies, as well as The Sound of Music on DVD and I'm taking her and my niece to see The Sound of Music in Manchester in December. I got the tickets cheaper through work and paid for them months ago so I'm quite glad now that I've not got too much to spend for her presents now.

Sorry to hear about your horse Penguin.

Well done on your walk Rosepink. It does the world of good to blow the cobwebs away sometimes.

Not had chance to catch up on everyone's weekends so hugs all round.
