Oh no! Hope DS is better soon serena - if it's any consolation, I'm still working away at school stuff too. Got 10 writing assessments to mark still and a class assembly to plan and write. Definitely feeling CBA at the moment but I know that I'm behind with my assessments in school so won't have much time during the week to do more, so had better get a wriggle on - annoyingly I haven't photocopied enough mark sheets, so some will have to wait. How is DD now?

Oooh Serena, hope he's ok, bet he's exhausted poor lad. x

Well managed to get a few more things done.

    Roast lamb in oven.

    Another wash in WM

    Ditto TD

Managed to get a few bits from Argos including a chrimbo pressie for hubby.

Did I tell you about my personal challenge...to buy all chrimbo pressies by the end of November....not the stocking stuff but the pressies, well I'm nearly done I think.:j

Also got our knickers and socks from Asda, on the way out there was a small crowd around a dog that had been chained up outside, it appeared someone had dumped him there......poor dog. Anyway people were dealing with it...but what a shame, really sad and the dog was howling away, obviously quite distraught.

Anyways, going to prep the rest of tea and chivvy my girls up to get some jobs dona as I've done it all today except DD2 who hoovered her room.

    Back later.

when I do this I type them up and print them out - or, if I am really desperate I can photocopy them at the local co-op for 5p a sheet;);)

there are assembly ideas on primary resources (where I have had a resource uploaded *glow*) www.primaryresources.co.uk/assembly

I also find some on charity websites - got a brill 'why you should wash your hands' one featuring Adam Hart-Davies once ;)

(((hugs)) for DS Serena - virtual as real ones would hurt!

Thanks everyone for the assembly ideas - unfortunately these class assemblies are more a "we've been learning about Tudors this term .. have a look at some of our work" with interesting facts and work to display and they have to know greensleeves off by heart to sing at the end!

Writing assessment results don't need to be in until Friday, so will try and get them done tomorrow evening when I've photocopied some more of the sheets (they are the APP for writing grids).

Can't see your resource Valli - which one is yours? ETA - Found it! Might have known with your obsession with pegs! lol ;)

  • Tuesday ~ Living room, hall and stairs DONE STAR PLEASE TOOTS

Right, no time to catch up with thread or flying, but to be honest I've been mainly de-cluttering cupboards and taking stuff to the charity shop (no car, so two bags at a time). Only managed two stars this week, the next few weeks I think I will be flying but doing my own list to de-clutter.

Anyway off to de-grime the bairns;) hope you all are well

Have too much time on my hands now and not enough room in my cupboards or money in my purse .

I went out for a few bits and now have so much foody stuff I will need to rearrange the cupboards. I need to bake every day to get rid of some of it.

Spent 2 hours drinking tea with DD's friends mum while they supposedly did homework so I havent been busy toots.

Oh and I got the M&S Cava, got 12 bottles 8 white and 3 pink, should have been £91 and it came to £41. I'll be going over to whichever thread it was to say thank you. Sunday evenings look like they might be fun again - oh except tonight as DS has asked me if I can go and pick him up later as he's on the train on his way back from girlfriends, is getting a bus to his dads to pick up stuff he left Friday and wants me to pick him up from there as his dad will be at work ! No pop for me tonight then.

Tea so far is a chicken in the oven but nothing to go with it  . I am slowly going senile as I bought 4 as they were happy chickens on special offer but I need to create room in the freezer before I can store them. So much stuff

Lilme - glad little Matthew is ok
Serena - ouch for poor DS, hope its relocated and less painful now

Off to make some room in the fridge plus see if I can find my paypal login and password as I feel a purchase coming on
