  • Hi everyone. We've had a lazy morning today...I was really tired after working Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights with extra hours on Saturday too. DH has now taken DD1 to running club, which is a good job cos I might have blown my top at her as her bedroom is a tip again. She's supposed to be trying to keep it tidy and if she does we said we'd buy her a chair for her desk in her bedroom, but it's not happened. The thing that frustrates me most is when she throws all her clean clothes on the bottom of her wardrobe then tries to close the door and they all get screwed up. DH has confiscated her DS and asked if she really should be allowed to go to running club.....I said YES! so that I can calm down and get some flying done. The IL's might call for a coffee later on and the hall and kitchen floor are covered in dirty cat paw prints.

    Anyway....rant over!

The plan is to try to get as much done as I can while DD2 is asleep and DD1 and DH are out. I've done a quick bedroom and bathroom tidy so they look OK now. Kitchen next. HHC anyone at 2.30pm?

We should be getting foster cat in the next day or so, the son needs to tell his dad today that the cat's going. They're not really giving him a choice in it as he can't even look after himself properly, nevermind a cat. It's a case of it going to us or the RSPCA. At least he has the option of having it back if it goes to us if he sorts himself out...although at the moment that looks very unlikely. We've decided that we'll call her Minnie. His DIL has said that she can take it to the vets first and get her checked over, but I know which vets she's under so I can at least check where she's up to with her injections.

Will be back after the HHC.

ETA: crossed posts with Juliejim and Smartie. I'll join in with you. Off we go.....

You know you're a real flylady when you stand in the shower with the water running over you and you're scrubbing the grout with a nail brush lol-045.gif
:rotfl: I have been known to lie in the bath and clean the tiles with a cloth at the same time

Lil_me, big hugs for Matthew and his family, and well done to your DS1!

Hugs Lady Liberty, thinking of you today, give my love to Diva

Welcome Potty, nice to have you joining in with us, it seems you will fit right in with us mad lot on here! Although most of us aren’t quite as mad as Jinky! LOL!

Hugs Penguin, sorry to hear about your horse friends2.gif

I've managed to list the item I wanted to sell on ebay by opening another browser, the one I had just took me round in circles! Wouldn't let me get beyond the sign in stage, which was annoying! If this item doesn't sell I'm very tempted to keep it as it's a very nice bracelet.

Not sure whether to go back to bed or stay up and do some knitting. I think bed might win.

I am still here, just desperately trying to catch up with the list.

Monday - done, star please, thank you so much, don't know how you keep track of everyone Toots

Tuesday - done, star please ( I find those 2 days the easiest)

Wednesday, only done the worst bits, tidied my craft desk in the bedroom and cleared the floor but still needs dusting

Thursday - done, star please, bathroom looking nice

Friday- DD2 did her own room, DD1 is a teenage slob, I am not going in there, just washed her bedding.

sorry I am not posting, it is the only way I can do any housework at all, I have so many other things to do, I love reading all your posts but I can easily sit behind the computer for a couple of hours and nothing else will get done. I do skim read though.. and do think of you that are having bad times :kisses3:

And sorry to read the sad news about your horse Penquin, I love horses and used to ride when I was younger.

Rose stay up, try and get outside for some fresh air. It will give you more energy to get on with things and you will feel so much better for it.

Oh, I do love ebay free lisiting days, all the expensive stuff up on there now, and not had to pay a penny in fees!!! lets hope it all sells, if not it will be packed back in the garage and car booted in the spring.

That is my next plan :D

I've done really well out the front and got up the bulk of the leaves and done some weeding. There are still leaves on the verge but my bin in full so they will wait and hopefully blow into somebody else's garden.

Hopefully that is most of the hard work done out the front until after Christmas - I love gardening in Jan and Feb after a month of shopping/cleaning/cooking/entertaining.

Back still need a lot of work but that will have to be next weekend's plan.

Time for a cuppa and then to start my listing.

Yes you are right, I will get dressed and try to walk to the post box and back. Don't know why I feel so rough today, I felt brilliant yesterday. It's very annoying! But I know others are having a far worse time than me, hugs to you all xx
