    Morning all,

I haven't caught up with the thread so i hope everyone is ok.

The car is at the garage but they weren't open yesterday so we don't know how bad it is. OH thinks it's dead though:rolleyes:. He should be getting a hire car tomorrow and if i go and pick it up with him i should be able to drive it too. He was getting a new car anyway as he's got a long drive with his new job and didn't think this car would make it everyday. The plan was though for me to have his old one which i won't be able to now if it's dead.

I need to go and make some soup then my plan for today is ironing, Wrapping and Ebay.

Frodders - Don't get me wrong - I loved Portmouth on the whole. Had a great time living there but when I was on-call and had to sleep in the flat above the centre at the docks it was sooo scary! It was on an industrial estate so no one else was around but every so often you'd hear cars pulling up and some furtive business going on. I lived on the Anchorage Road estate but can't remember what the pub was called on there. We didn't use it much.

That'll be the Compass Rose! I used to work for Safeway up there and sometimes went for a quick drink after work! Don't think I'd fancy sleeping round by the docks either - a bit dark and lonely!

Julie I will join your HHC at 12 and see how many writing assessments I can get done in that half hour. At least that way, they'll have been started and seem less daunting.
