Morning all, having a bit of a catch up with the thread and the lists today, week started well and got loads done but everything went a bit wrong after that!

Had to have my lovely horse put down on Friday, I have had her for 15 years and she was very old but it still knocked me for six. Have spent the last 2 days moping and have decided to crack on with housework today to stop me thinking about it.

Hope everyone is well, will catch up with everyones news today x x x

Penguin83 - massive, massive hugs to you. It's such a sad time even when you know you've done the best thing. More hugs coming your way xxx

Lil_me - I hope Mathews op went well this morning and you and his parents are ok. Brilliant news about your son.

Frodders - Don't get me wrong - I loved Portmouth on the whole. Had a great time living there but when I was on-call and had to sleep in the flat above the centre at the docks it was sooo scary! It was on an industrial estate so no one else was around but every so often you'd hear cars pulling up and some furtive business going on. I lived on the Anchorage Road estate but can't remember what the pub was called on there. We didn't use it much.

LL - hope you feel better after a nap xxx

Tootles - you be careful or spotty, potty, dotty dog will come and sit on your knee so you can't go anywhere!!!

I had both flu jabs yesterday and i've had no reaction at all. If I press the injection site really hard it feels a bit bruised but that's it. Consequently i'm not bothering with my day in bed because I'm bored already. I keep telling DH and children that I need to take it easy incase I get a delayed reaction!

We're just off to M&S to see if we can get some of dusty's cava! We'll all be raising a toast to her on Christmas day!

Catch up with you all soon xxxx

Ooops sorry - meant to say a big welcome to nopot2pin - I LOVE your name! If you're a friend of Jinky's ..... we'd better all run! xx
