    Debt-free and Proud!
Been out most of the day so not much flying, had breakfast out with OH, then shopping and coffee with a friend and a quick walk by the sea. It was lovely to come home though and see it all clean and tidy, thanks very much Pigpen, Tootiefruities and Soappie and all other flyladies.:T

Won't manage much from list today because DD and DS1 do own rooms which I will encourage/help them with over the weekend and did DS2s with Master Bedroom.

Have done 2 x HHC since got back in and am waiting for sauce to thicken before assembling enchiladas for tea so had a quick catch up on what you've all been up to.

Off out with friends tonight to see Grumpy Old Women, had tickets ages but really looking forward to it although me and a friend have been doing our own show all week :D

Have a great weekend and see you all Monday. x

    anyway back to the point
Friend colected her boy about 1.30. She was at hospital for about 3 hours. She's having a rotte time of it with the BD and she is 6 months pregnant. Really feel for her, was there myself a few years ago. She gave me some flowers for looking after her boy, totally unnecessary but really really sweet :)

    This afternoon I have:
    - tidied playroom
    - emptied board games out of bureau into dining room
    - sealed up uni box now ready for loft
    - mended 3 bracelets for DD1
    - put baby books etc in spare room upstairs
    - cleared up a pile from spare room desk
    - tidied up DS dressing up stuff and chucked broken things
    - decluttered box of carp from DS room
    - put away DS scalextric
    - cleaned DS wooden castle
    - put away one load dry laundry
    - hung next load up to dry
    - S&S bathroom
    - arranged flowers my lovely friend gave me

Does anyone want a load of cross stitch patterns

Have decided that DH can go out for a takeaway and bottle of wine and poss DVD later and we will eat after kids in bed (he is putting them to bed too) and he is NOT allowed to play his stupid game until I have gone to bed AND he is getting up with the children tomorrow :D We are going to have a nice evening if it kills him
    :rotfl:

Going to get DD2 up, she has had a late sleep today  then do a bit more accounting while they all play then do tuna pasta for them for tea.

  • Right just downloaded some moooosic onto my Aigo and going to plug it in, blast the tunes and tidy the kitchen....for a min there i sounded like a normal 18year old lol, see you all in about 2 HHC xxxx
  • I feel like death warmed up, absolutely rubbish. Not sure if it's DH's virus or the BD which I've been fighting off for a few days. Somehow I need to find the energy to do some dinner. I've defrosted something from the freezer but had better do some rice and heat up the casserole. Not much I know but it feels like a mountain. All I want is a bowl of cereal but we've run out of milk. This sounds pathetic, sorry for whinging.

Ever wished you had just kept your mouth shut?

I have just had one of those moments:mad::cool:

Back to work now, pee'd off
    What happened? Are you ok?

Dreamy, glad you had a lovely evening last night

Kezlou that’s so funny about your OH telling you you’d been burgled!

Hug Natty – if it is glandular fever you really MUST rest as it can be serious if you don’t let yourself recover properly

Soapppie glad you got the job

Hugs Zoe, hopefully the court will see what he really is like and won’t let him have anything he’s asked for xx

Jill I’ve got a friend who loves cross stitch if the patterns are still going? She suffers greatly from the BD and looks after her blind husband and sits up in the night cross stitching when she’s suffering from insomnia

Pleased I got one star last week, going to try to match that this week!

    Good evening all

I had just got to work when DH told me that DS1 had been sent home from school early (severe headache, feeling cold, nauseous). Fortunately no fever. He's been in bed since he got back, sleeping it off. Looks like another trip to the doctor's next week.

At least the chemist confirmed my suspicion that DS2 is unlikely to have swine flu, so I've collected the tamiflu, but will put it in a safe place 'in case'.

Jobs for the rest of the evening (not quite in that order):
find something for tea (DH and me)
make buns with DS2 and find something for his tea, if he's hungry
check Nigella Christmas book for baking ingredients to finish shopping list
    go shopping
    put shopping away
    dry washing
put fresh bedding on beds (our bed and DS2's)
think seriously about going to approved foods in Worksop tomorrow
    empty and re-load DW
    start WM

I think that'll do for the moment. Have a good evening, everyone.

rose I will send you the cross stitch patterns for your friend, they were from a "cross stitch a day" calendar that my hubby bought me in the US years ago ... as if I have time to do a cross stitch a day - bless him!
Theer are a good couple of hundred of them!!! Should keep your friend busy for a while ;)
They are still in the box (a bit muddled as I have kept the ones I want) and in a jiffy bag ready to go.
pm your address and I'll bung them in the post
