Splitting any spare money at the end of the month between three pots - 1 to throw at the debts, 2 to save for a rainy day and 3 for a family treat. Using this method we were able to get married last week :j!!

Oh, and don't let the debts get you down!!

    Mine is short and sweet:

If you want things to change - make changes.

That reminds me of someone at work's email footer - "We cannot become what we want to be by being what we have become".

Bit of a tongue twister, huh!:rotfl:

My biggest tip is: "always do the right thing, even when no-one's looking".

And keep a simple spreadsheet showing your income and outgoing and daily closing bank balance. 1st tip on keeping tabs on your hard earned £££ - know where it's going!!
    LBM #2 - April 2009 / debt @ LBM £23914
    Current debt October 2011 £15388.
