I don't know if this qualifies as a money saving tip but the techie board has saved me loads. Apart from that, it is is the general household tips like putting shampoo into a soap dispenser and using things like Stardrops and vinegar. Saving pennies each day turn into £££'s each year.

  • Cutting up credit cards - best thing I've ever done, made me feel free for the first time in 25 years. Still got the debt to pay off but just knowing that I've not got the cards to fall back on makes me think twice sometimes three times before I buy something.

Gone past the stage of asking myself 'do I really, really need **' to 'is it a matter of life or death to have ***'

Perhaps I'm going a bit afar, starting to scare myself.

Oh, nearly forgot, going to Asda instead of Tesco for shopping, we've cut £40 per week of our shopping bill and that's not cutting brands or anything, still buying Heinz soup but it's four for £1 in Asda. (We like soup alot).
Getting there, slowly but I WILL be debt free before I retire
