  • Why is it I seem to get some things right and everything else goes wrong :o Ah well keep on plodding :j

Money ~ On track nothing has been spent...
Sleep ~ Still work in progress but i am generally in bed by 11pm, however I have really got stuck into a book this past week :D
Work ~ Just plodding with that
Environment ~ Yey, its so nice waking to a clear desk
Employment ~ Still applying, I shall get a better job

In other news I am £2.04 richer than I thought :T Years ago I had ing accounts but I hadn't used them in ages. Obviously with the new tax year I ahve been looking at isa's and at the moment this has the better rate without having to open a new account with a different institute. My debt is still of importance and I would be using the isa till I am debt free but it's nice to have a savings account again :T

That's it for me, just plodding on

Pap, hang in there, you are doing so well x

As Beanielou says we are all doing the same silly debt dance. One day we'll be free!
This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
    Fingers crossed x

I think I need to stop thinking about 'what if's', 'where could I be' and 'what I am not' and be grateful for the here and now. Sometimes its easy to keep looking into the future/past and missing whats happening now.

However on that note its monthly budget time :rotfl: Payday is a far few days way yet but I wanted to get this up early, as always.

£160.00 ~ Rent (inc £40 lent for last week Cambridge)
    £16.00 ~ House ins
    £12.50 ~ Line rental
    £44.00 ~ Bus ticket
£10.00 ~ Credit card (min payment)
    £21.00 ~ internet savings
    £160.00 ~ Cambridge
    £4.00 ~ Gift
    £10.00 ~ Work meal

So that should leave £66 out of my main wages. I know I should have at least £50 overtime in this pay so that should make £116. Now I am planning to put aside £70 for the holiday and pay anything left off the debt. I have now added Argos into my budget for next month so anything else will be put towards my CC, although I may do 1/2 and 1/2 :rotfl:

My no spends challenge is going really well and I have spent nothing since posting. I do however need some new running socks, my trainers came with a free pair but running nearly everyday getting them washed is a bit of a push, plus on holiday it just won't happen. They are £5.99 each of three for £10 So I am hoping I can factor those in somewhere. I know I will eb breaking my challenge but its something I can't do without sadly.

Anyways thats me :D Forever plodding :j

Do I take it the job people didn't call back? Rather shocking for such a large company!!

  • Pooky, they left a message on my phone Thursday of that week to say I would get a letter in the post... Never did. Anyway there has now been very very positive movement's within work these past three days :T Plus there may be even better news in the next week... Which will mean I will have access to tons of overtime (if they will pay it) and I may be able to up my contracted hours... Huge fingers crossed :j

In other news I have saved £40 from my cambridge money because I have been very naughty on the diet this week :o Back to it tomorrow though if I don't get back on it 100% before I go on holiday I really have to think about quitting it all together. Buying this food and then binging ontop is a waste of money! So anyway that £40 will go to Argos so if I am really really good I can clear that this month :j :j :j I want to, I really want to. Even if it leave me with nothing to save for holiday that cool because I go about a week after payday next month which then means the Argos money I have in my soa (£90) can be used instead :T

So Payday I am going to look into my bills/budgets and I want to clear Argos and pay at least an extra £20 of my CC this month. As I said before time to get serious

    Plod, plod, speed..... Plod :rotfl:

Fingers crossed the over time and such comes off at work for you - can't believe how bad the other company have been!

How come you've been "off CD" this week then? I really don't know anything about it but can only assume it's not good to keep stopping and starting it? Has the running changed the way you feel about the diet?

  • Thanks Pooky... I have been off CD with a mixture of things but mainly its running/fitness stuff. On CD you get three shakes that are 138cal each, so you are living on 414cal per day. Now the national 'avarage' is 2000cal a day so a huge difference. Now if I run for 30min I then can burn up to 300cal, I can then burn another 260cal when I do my 30day shred so effectivly I am in negative callories. This means ketosis (the state you should be in on CD) doesn't work to well as you are knocked into deep ketosis which makes you hungry... So I binge :o I could go up a plan and have an evening meal but I am an all or nothing tyoe of person :rotfl:

Anyways I will be fine :j
