Don’t worry they will probably change the rules by this time next week
Unlike "thanks" it took three days for my transfer of £10 to go through
But that was back in January 28 Irish light years agoI transferred £8500 by card reader to Halifax and it reached the Halifax account instantaneously.etrol0 -
Did you realise (I didn't!) that according to the link from Cottager 112, no interest is paid for the month that a withdrawal is made?0

Sorry, from a quick look I don't see a reference to this either: which post in that thread?~cottager0 -
More good news from Ulster Bank
Yes you can use CHAPS if you open a current account
But they charge £9 per month for the privilege of having a current accountetrol0 -
I opened a Pathway account around a month ago - but the Pathway account appears to be no longer available to residents in the UK. I was just wondering, as it doesn't appear on their website, what the current interest rate is on Pathway account for UK residents? The Ulster bank website is absolutely useless!

has anyone tried transferring over 10k? and how long it took?
I`ve transferred 3-4k and it was instantaneous to the receiving account but not sure about a larger sum like 10k.0 -

See post #127 on previous page of this thread.
The PDF link mentioned is here

and the Pathway a/c is listed on p7.~cottager0 -
Apologies if this is posted in the wrong place but this is my first posting....
I opened a Pathway account with Ulster however have just received a letter stating that the interest will be paid annually in October not monthly as indicated in their 'guide to fees and interest brochure'. Does anyone know if the monthly interest was stated on the blurb on the internet and, if so, does this effect the AER as the interest will not be compounded. The account has now been withdrawn so I cannot check this. Depending on what was included on the internet prior to signing up can the just do this?0 -
