i would like to nominate midmac this post was really useful and explained exactly what do to and included all the correct links and details. i missed the free shin pads(because ntl r rubbish and i couldn't access my e mail) but got another kind for bargin price of 99p. Also he helped others through the post if they were having any trouble i'm sure lots of people will have managed to get a bargin from this.
For thousands of people this Christmas, their must-have gift is far more vital than the latest gadget or toy – it’s blood. Please don’t let the festivities and cold weather prevent you from giving them the ultimate gift… give blood.

I too would like to vote for midmac.

The thread was well laid out and very easy to follow.

He has been very helpful throughout.

I'd like to nominate "Our baby ducks have arrived". Hope this is OK, as I've done my fair share of contributing, too. If not, please slap my legs, and I'll be suitably chastened.

I was about to post about our new chicks, and found this. It's our first experience of hatching eggs, so has been a good source of reassurance, and the pictures are soooooooooooooooooooooo cute!

    Check it out!

I'm also with violet (post 15).

I would also like to nominate grpbp for the Halfords /BSM Driving Lessons this post has saved me loadsa pennies. My son is 17 in September and I managed to get 23 driving lessons and 3 simulator lessons which cost me just under £190. I am told at £20+ a lesson and £16.50 for the simulator lessons I have saved at least £320 I really think this really has to be the post of the month.

I'd like to nominate 'whatamess' for her reply to my thread http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=206002&page=5

She has enabled many of us to say what's in our hearts, in Swahili. I reckon it's worth £50 to be able to tell a VAT officer to crawl into a hole and die, scumpig.
This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

I found this thread in Debt Free Wanabee about how couples share their money one of the best reads on here in a while:

    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=212840

There's lots of good stories from a multitude of different posters. But instead of splitting the £50, I'd like to nominate the person who started the thread, leni, for bringing up what's quite a sensitive issue.
  • I would like to nominate madmac for the kitbag post. so many people made a huge saving on here thanks to his easy to understand thread. He also kept an eye on it so anytime anyone had a query he was able to try and answer it.

    easily worth fifty quid
