    #29 checking in. :D

Time for my once a month post to this 2010 challenge thread. I have an automated overpayment that pays the mortgage on 1st of the month - overpayment is £500.

My 2010 aim is to overpay by £6,000.

    Year to date I'm 2,000 / 6,000 ie 33.33% and currently on track (for a change). :o

Nationwide only allow £500 overpayments on fixed term products, so that's me done for another month! Off to do the update form...;)

It's my first update for April.

The first overpayment of £500 has reached the account.
I hope to add another £450 over the next few weeks, because I have some junk on eBay and some overtime due later this month.

I need to overpay £835 each month to hit my £10,000 target.
    So far so good.

MFW's, my mortgage balance is now just £2.3k, hard to believe. Three years ago it was over £30k but a concerted drive, helped by all the contributors to this forum, has taken me to the brink of being MF, only 3 months to go.

Keep up the good work everyone, you'll get there in the end.:)
