I have a little over £21,000 left on mine. Hoping to get it to at least £19,000 by the end of the year, depending on my temp work.
How much more of your mortage are you hoping to pay off by the end year?Frugal Living Challenge 2025 Mortgage free as of 1st August 20130 -

Realistically i expect it to be about £7000 however £6000 would be nicer. That would mean raiding the savings account which is probably not a good ideaMortgage Free as of 31/5/11 :j:j:j:j:j:j:j0 -
Hey, not posted here for a while so just thought I'd touch base (oooo I hate that saying!).
Made my usual £75 OP this month and set to make another in August. Not managed to make any additional OPs other than my monthly direct debit amount mainly due to going away for a weekend to the lake district, which set me back £300+. Not good for a less than 48 hour trip! It was a boys weekend so plenty of walking, drinking and eating. No idea how I spent that much though
Got my 0% credit card balance to clear soon, a car service coming up and another weekend away, so currently assessing finances to see what I can squeeze in additional OP wise. Main thing is I've got my monthly direct debit amount going out each month as a minimum. My spending has gone a bit mental over the last few weeks so need to get back on track....
Hope everyone else is doing ok and is on track0 -
