Still a lot to do if I want to clear it by Christmas but its getting closer gradually

Well done to you all in your quests to own your own homes!

My overpayments are really small compared to some too but then so is my wage so comparatively speaking I'm overpaying as best I can.

Owt's better than nowt too as they say...

I agree with you totally. I am the only breadwinner and on minimum wage so my overpayments are a major percentage of my take home pay

Number 171 reporting in for June with an OP of £4300. Was supposed to be money for a holiday but making do with a few days away with the relatives instead.

Good to see everyones progress so far, I have 3 pay days left until I go onto unpaid leave (on maternity leave at the moment) then we go down to one wage, but will keep plugging away :)

    #37 here...

Me and the gf are now getting married next year, so our target of £4,000 probably won't happen. We are £15 short of £2500 and I'll have to put that in to make it up! After that any 'spare' money will have to go towards the wedding.

After that I will be back overpaying as much as possible, thanks for this it's really helped over the last year and I didn't even understand all this overpaying lark until I found this site. We have op'd around £6000 since last June and I'm more than happy!

    Speech over... Thanks all

108 reporting in after *coughs* "absence"

    £92.40 OP for July

I don't think I am going to reach my target as have changed mortgage and shortened the term by 5 years but will keep logging OPs if that's OK.

    Well done everyone
