Depending on what the wooden train set looks like in the flesh that might get returned also if i dont like it or thinks its poor quality.

We got the train set last month and it is really good value. The track fits with loads of other tracks and is really good quality. I would highly recommend it and a real bargain for £10. Just my opinion mind.

I have had wooden train stuff from tesco before so i cant see it being a problem, like you said it fits with most track, including the train stuff you can buy from ikea.

I've just picked my toys up thanks
  • Just had a call to say my order is in store but one item of the four is out of stock and as it was the free one they have refunded me £5 onto my card as a gesture of goodwill. Not as good a deal as original order but still ok I suppose.
  • hiya any idea what number you rang i rang tesco direct and they said they have to check with the pickers to make sure it wasnt in the box though how they gonna know that is beyond me lol still waiting for them to ring me back[

QUOTE=jediteacher;26746319]Exactly the same thing happened to me. The Spaceship is out of stock online too. I did ring Customers Services and they refunded me the entire price of the ship as a 'goodwill gesture' as it was their fault that the Spaceship was not delivered. I too only ordered to get this but I cannot really complain because now with the refund I still have 3 really good toys that I only paid £2.50 for.[/QUOTE]

I rang the number on top of my invoice : 0845 600 4411.

I know I should have gone to say no to 0845 but I just wanted it sorted and was in a hurry.

The lady said that it was redirected or something and she somehow knew it wasn't in the box. I have to say that it took them 2 hours to get back to me after I initially rang but hopefully all sorted now.

Just got the delivery on my stuff, great thanks.

I also complained about having to pay for delivery when some people were getting their goods delivered free over £40. So they refunded £5 for delivery and £5 as goodwill. Brilliant. Xmas is coming......

  • Picked up my items from store yesterday!

They were in a huge brown box, so didn't bother opening till I got home, and........

All 6 toys in there as ordered, with invoice.

An extra 'Cars' ride on motorbike in brand new condition, but with stickers on!!!!!

It must have been a return as fully assembled with stickers. Found it on the Tesco website for £29.97 so my £60 order cost me £32 with an extra ride on included.

(which no I won't return as obviously a return put in my box in error!!)

    Happy Christmas everybody. X
  • Hi princesswoo

I got my box of goodies delivered yesterday, and one of the items is not what I expected at all, much much smaller than it seemd on the website (and actually on the box it's in too).

So I need to return it to store this week for a refund......
but what happens - will I be refunded it's cost, around £15, or will the whole order be recalculated and I'll lose my 3 for 2 ?

Any one else know what happens in this situation.

    thanks muchly for any advice

I had to return one of my items today as did not match the online description or picture - refunded the full price £11.97 and no mention of the 3 for 2.

I got a text apologising and telling me my order was delayed and it would be available to collect today after 4, dont know why they sent text as thats the original time quoted. I am off tomorrow to collect :D

I also placed an order tonight to be delivered to store and there was a huge warning that all orders are being delayed due to high demand for the click and collect service! may be best for people to check the status online before any trip to store.
would love to win an ipad!
