anyway thats the update!
What's the point in living if you don't get treats every now and then? Buy a CD player through this Quidco thing (which I just started using yesterday it looks great) and then you won't feel bad about treating yourself!Barclaycard - £489.74 / £500.00
CapitalOne - £1933.92 / £2000.00
Marbles - £719.45 / £750.00
Beneficial Finance - £398.86 / £450.00
Abbey Overdraft - £8500 -

morning all. yesterday i applied for a social fund loan of £500, its at 0% so i am hoping i will get it. if i do, this means that i can pay off a credit card and probably my smaller loan.
i have £27.77 in PMS jar which will go off the debt at the end of the month, i think that june will be a good month and i will see a real difference in the debt total. im still on course for a DFD of september 2007 although if i can clear it quicker i will. i still have £300 in savings, which is my safety net, in case of serious disaster! i am ebaying all that i can and hopefully that will make a bit of a dent too.November NSD's - 70 -

this morning i transferred the £26 quidco payment from my paypal account to my overdraft with abbey (*spits*). i have also transferred £25 from my a&l account to ING, which will in turn be transferred to abbey at the end of the month along with any other little bits of money i manage to syphon off. its looking good so far!
I found another £1.10 lurking in my bedroom after a tidy up so that has gone in my PMS jar, grand total now £16.76. still unsure what i want to spend that on but will see what my total is at the end of "june" which ends for me 2nd July and then decide. Id like a new cd player for my bedroom as the old one bit the dust this week (ive had it since i was 17 im now 33!!!). Tescos apparently do really cheap ones so i hear, anyway we shall see, perhaps i can use junes PMS to pay cc and julys for the cd player. not sure i deserve a treat this soon after climbing back on the wagon.
anyway thats the update!
I got a cracking little CD player in tescos for the kitchen ( alba, white) and it was really cheap, at 12. odd. Great sound on it, and its the only one that gets aradio reception in our flat- well worth it. you do get 5% back from tescos online, with quidco, so may be worth doing, but i find the postage rates negate the saving on Quidco sometimes on the cheaper items. BUt at least you get the points at tescos, plus they have their cheaper stuff in store I think, less online.
Well done Jamie you are doing really well!! Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
