It's falling apart at the seams because of Labour''s authoritarian nanny state control freakery.
Speed camera's are symptomatic of the wider rot that has set in.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”

Thats the equivalent of an extra 2 work weeks per year, being stuck behind muppets who can't drive.
In the case of these country roads, it's more like 20 or 25 mph that passing a slow driver can add, as they often dawdle along at 40mph.
So more like 3 work weeks a year, every year, for the last 2 decades.
How about I tell you to work an extra 3 weeks a year and see how you like it......
How about we change all of the red lights to green to save your precious time?0 -

I'll continue driving at a safe speed for the roads and conditions.
And hopefully soon we'll see the reversal of this ridiculous nanny state mentality that seeks to control and stealth tax at the expense of common sense.
Thankfully, some Tory councils are already leading the way by banning speed cameras locally.
Long may it continue.
I wondered how long it would take before you resorted to insults.
You've lost the argument, better stick to your house price debates.0 -

Ok, do away with speeding cameras and everything will be fine?

.
I thought they had signs explaining that speed cameras are in operation (not exactly hiding
) can't see the point in that myself. 'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0 -

You lost the argument the moment you resorted to SHOUTING IN BIG CAPITAL LETTERS....:D And then edited it out.....
I proved my point through police accident statistics, opinions of a chief constable, and an analysis of the time saving benefits.
You just ranted, repetitively, about speed laws. You have been brainwashed by New Labours control freakery.
Grow a spine, or try some independant thought sometime.... You may like it.;)“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.

Seems like he's bought & paid for by NuLab, who have been the most corrupt, meanest, nastiest, most destructive, thieving self-serving government this country has had post-war.http://www.independent.co.uk/opinion/commentators/johann-hari/johann-hari-the-harsh-truth-about-tory-policies-1815642.html
Scary article.
Thoughts, anyone?
It is laughable that the best that NuLab can come up with is to try and scaremonger that there is a tory bogey-man.
Seriously, just look at the mess that our "prudent" unelected prime minster has got us into, and the way our international regard has plummeted due to his predecessor's ridiculous crusades.
The tories will not be worse.
It's practically impossible0 -

"Ranting" in your book appears to be anyone who doesn't agree with you. You are the law-breaker who thinks his precious time is worth more than the safety of other road-users.
Talking of independent thought, you should put down your copy of the Daily Mail and step into the real world sometime. You might like it0
