    A little tip.

Only buy from a shop and not a street vendor (other than ice cream or the Big Issue). That way you have some come back if it isn't right.
    [strike]-£20,000[/strike] 0!
  • Another Tip......take responsibility for your own actions, no-one can force you, or con you into buying something that you don't want.

I'm not normally a fan of the direct sales approach, however, I bought some of this stuff months back and the Kabuki brush, in particular, is really good.....better then some other High Street ones that I have bought.

I wouldn't have paid more than £20 for the stuff I got but it's not bad and I use it all the time, value for money I say!
My home is usually the House Buying, Renting and Selling Forum where I can be found trying to (sometimes unsucessfully) prove that not all Estate Agents are crooks. With 20 years experience of Sales/Lettings and having bought and sold many of my own properties I've usually got something to say ;)
    Ignore......check!

I got approached in WH Smith a few months back, which was confusing as they are a stationers! It gave the impression of a low rent or desperate operation, why would I buy make up 10 feet from their exit doors?I would go to a shop that sold make up.

i was very low in spirits a couple of weeks ago and bought some products from a company selling skin stuff from the dead sea. I was totally taken in by the seller and forked out sixty quid! When I walked away with my stuff I felt I had neen mugged and didnt have the bottle to take it back I couldnt afford the stuff. It was quite good mind and my skin is nice and soft, but i do ok normally with just gentle soap and moisturiser.

  • It think what hevaaksmurf said was.

I was given some of this product as a present and they were of acceptable quality. I sold my presents, including this make up, on ebay (yes I am aware that is reprehensable behaviour). However if you were to purchase all of the products individually on ebay, the cost would have been over £40(a shade over 38guinees). My mother purchased the products as a set for £20, so the price for the quality seems acceptable.

Of course I could be wrong

I am the worst person around for impulse purchases when I'm feeling a bit down in the dumps. I haven't ever bought from street vendors but if I'm in a shop and there's an offer on anything to do with nice smelling stuff or face/skin goodies it's like a drug to me! It's my own fault, need to get more willpower when I'm sad and have a word with myself lol! Have never spent the kind of amount that I'd feel guilty about afterwards though thankfully.

This is really odd because a while back my friend bought a load of this stuff and gave me an eyeshadow/lipgloss pallett from it. I found it in an old handbag this week and started using it- not had any problems with it. Its a cream based eyeshadow in greens and goldy pinky so its good for work. Don't think its worth as much as they flog it for thought because it doesnt stay on for too long and its pretty difficult to put on and it goes on VERY light but not bad for a freebie off my friend like I said.

On a bit of searching I found what I have: http://cdn2.overstock.com/images/products/3/P11217274.jpg
