Sorry if it's unclear, it's because the posters know what they need to see and what they need you to show - and we sometimes assume you may have read other threads and seen what sort of images are needed.

Please humour us, it will be worth it I hope. We want to help you get your money back. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Please scan in all the documents, front and back, including all the small print which you may think is standard. Make it clear which image relates to which ticket, by posting the images in groups (separate posts for each PCN/tow/receipt paperwork if that would make it clearer to read). But blank out any ID info re yourself or the car itself (but don't blank out dates or anything else).

Also, please take some clear pictures, if possible, of where she was parked, the bays, the lines and the final end markings if it's a long parking bay, and also the signs. This would help to establish where the alleged offence occurred. If that's not possible at all, then try to find an image on Google Street View, or tell us the street & description of the place where she parked (but your own pics are best).

See the sticky thread 'how to upload images' here:

If you have any problems once you've read the link above then post again, people here can help you. Hope to see the images soon.

In the meantime, here are some towing cases from a search I just did on the parking forum on pepipoo.com. Read through them to see what sort of info is needed and what sort of success people had, etc. Some posts are quite old but plenty of cases are being appealed right now on pepipoo. Reading other people's experiences may encourage you to realise that people can get their money back where a tow/ticket/signage is unfair/wrong:

    HTH

the link to PeP search shows quite old cases. The most recent one is interesting cos the documentation is tosh. It was very near the change of legislation at the time though and they may have corrected.

This OP just doesn't seem to be a believer anyway though.

    £700?

    At least try!
  • Sorry, I am not a non-beleiver, :) I just wanted to make clear that I don't think we can appeal the actual offence, as it was an expired Parking Permit, and there is no arguing with it. It's the severity with which the council have penalised the car that is in question.

I will gather the stuff and post this weekend. Thanks for your help so far. Am new to this! :)

    Thanks again.

Yes there may be! How would you know? There are loads of possibilities but you don't read what is posted.

No it isn't. That's irrelevant and will get you nowhere.

As several have said. read through again -- and I look forward to seeing the documents.

Let's just get you thinking straight to start with.

For those where the permit had expired the penalty IS NOT £100/£50 for a start!

It should not be a higher level contravention. Hence, the Council using the wrong description of contravention renders the PCNs invalid and the removal AS WELL.

    Potential huge refund.

    Now do you get it?
