I would definately wait a couple of weeks, get the wedding over with...and then find ways to make him pay his half!

Obi, for what it's worth, my opinion is that you should try and find out where the ex is. You needn't do anything with the information, but you will KNOW and that in my experience helped.

The easiest way I found where Popeye's ex had scarpered to was through 192.com, and it was the electoral register that gave their address away.
Just knowing where his son is makes OH feel a little better.

IMHO I think you will feel empowered by that knowledge, even if you do nothing with it.

Oh my giddy aunt!!! Since last catching up with your diary, you have a new baby.. :-) extra debt :-( and getting married tomorrow :-)

Its taken me ages and ages to catch up but more than worth the time...

Have a marvellous day tomorrow... and the finding of mr scumbag lower than sewage water can wait for a short while for you to be able to have only good floaty memories of the first week or so of being a Mrs....

Ahhh Obi, what a crappy thing to happen the day before your wedding.

Is the person that contacted you actually a friend of yours, or a friend of He-Whose-Nuts-Shall-Get-Trapped-In-A-Vice-In-An-Unfortunate-DIY-Accident-6-Months-From-Now? I don't suppose you can just wash your hands of the £5k and say 'Not my problem, go and speak to my ex, it's him that hasn't paid you'?

Agree with everyone else - forget the scumbag until after your wedding - make sure you have plenty of time to enjoy it. Then yes - try to find him - even if there is nothing you can do immediately - the information may come in handy one day....

Real bummer about the extra money - hopefully the friend really is one and will be with you on tracking down the ex......

oh b**** what a crapp* piece of "news" the day before the big day...as others would said I would just let go of it and wait till after the big day. Dont let him marr what should, and will, be a special day. Ignore the relies, xoh and just enjoy celebrating the fact that you love each other and can be blissfully happy despite the past. Will be thinking of you! Ooodles of love for you both:) Also cant wait to see the pics - you'll be stunning!
Just read back...lol re the bra!! If I was rich (see sigy!) would invent yummy bras for larger ladies - being a 44 dd its a mare and they really only do scaffold or cut your arm off in my size at the mo! As for wonder bra - youre having a laugh! Have a fab day tomorrow and great to hear the hen night went well despite stroppy mate refusing to do what you wanted on your night...bah humbug!
