We have 3 white walls and the feature wall is a black flower patterened paper from Wilkinsons, we have a white bed set on with a deep purple throw from TK Maxx which cost £20, a very cheap way of doing it which looks quite expensive so i have been told.:j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j

Keep it simple.
White paint's easy to touch up, the colour's never discontinued, you don't have to drive miles to find it, don't have to spend hours/££s on choosing and match pots.
Where on earth do you sleep?0 -

We have Parchment walls which is sort of white/cream, bedding is all white but with Teal overquilt and pillows... goes well with the wooden blinds and butterscotch carpet... also have a Teal chenille throw over a chair, happily all the Teal accessories match the colour of the sea in my favourite pic of a beach and palm trees.. which hangs above the bed#6 of the SKI-ers Club :j

I live in a rented flat and cant paint or decorate the walls
( so they are all stuck as cream!! I am gonna ask the landlord though if i can do some nice free hand painted designs in the corners of the rooms though! Will prob get told No haha! Anyway I am finally getting round to colour co-ordinating all the rooms, got a bit of a mish mash of things at the mo...have decided to accessorise the bedroom in Red and Black with dark wood furniture, not too much black mind dont want it gothic style!

We have three walls in magnolia and then a feature wall which the bed is against in a light browny sort of colour. I wanted to go neutral on the walls so that I can have bright sheets and accessories
I'll post a piccie later when I've cleaned up a bit!
I'm going kinda similar, doing up a house at the moment. Johnstones Magnolia on 3 walls, then a pinky red (dulux rasberry bellini) feature wall behind the bed. Stone carpet, oak furniture.
Did well on the paint, was going to pay £16 for a 2.5l tin, then looked in the reduced section and they had a 1l tin reduced to £1
Just out of curiousity, those of you with feature walls, do you end up with lots of half tins of paint. As a thought, has anyone painted a feature wall, and then mixed some of the remainder with white to do the remainder of the walls. Does it work well?0 -
need more pics.......!!
Am currently decorating my bedroom and need some inspiration !!

Hi well finally finished ours last night at 10-30pm.! it looks lovely..well to me it does!! Just waiting for the camera battery to charge and i will post pics.
Astec i was thinking the same thing kind of in regards to the paint for the feature walls as now have some left over, but not too much..I am going to mix it with some white and do the strip across the bed (not sure im brave enough to measure it straight though!) which will hopefully be a very good lighter match to the darker wall so we put our canvas's' on there. Sure it would be fine mixed with white to do the other walls but just make sure you mix enough or you may have 2 diff shades!0
