i finally got my iphone on fri.... but even thought i insisted on my contract being 18mths, they put me down for a 24mth contract. Is there anyway i can change this without having to return my iphone, and putting it through as a new upgrade??
  • I got told on the 11th of this month that they had the 16gb 3GS in stock in Black and White, they were offering it to me for £78.something but they had no 32gb in stock but would do in the near future

  • T-mobile have the iphones back in stock both 8gb and 16gb 3GS in both black and white. They still dont have any 32gb in stock and didnt have a date.

The tarriffs for upgrade are still the same as previously reported in this thread. I went for the £45 f24 months free 16gb 3GS iphone - which while not the best deal over the course of the contract means Im not stumping up the money upfront for the phone.

I didnt need to push for an iphone they were very open about it - did however go straight to retentions rather than the upgrade line

They had some very good deals on free G2's as well if you are not ready for an iphone
  • I went into the T-Mobile shop on Saturday and was told they would not be doing the iphone again until the new iphone 4g came out, so looks like retentions are the only way to go, but I have about 9 months of my 18 month contract left to go so don't know if I would be allowed to upgrade?

The guy in the shop also advised me not to go for iphone, but it looks like a great gadget, and the reviews I read said that the 3gs is noticeably faster than the 3g?

Also the T Mob guy said Orange and T Mob would merge this summer but no details available yet.
  • Not sure if everyone knows but you will be charged for voicemail on top of your monthly tariff with Iphone. Also seem to give me an extra 100 mins bonus a month, have said this would be all the time, did anyone else get this?

Sorry I cannot respond to your voicemail query but is the extra 100 minutes on your online account (i.e. is it recorded)? Are you on the 800 minutes contract and this takes it to 900?

you will be charged for voice mail ... what package did you get? £35pm or £45pm?
