Does anyone know the best place to buy an unlocked iphone? Do any of the providers sell them> T-mobile etc?

t-mobile dont sell them - only available on upgrade
  • I also got told no 3GS until after Xmas.

t-mobile are having trouble aquiring stcok of the 3GS - they still have the 8G 3G, check out the comparison websites to see the difference between the 2 phones. Not much to be honest and i think some features on the 3GS can be matched on the 3G by a software upgrade or a app download ( video recording ) do quote me on this though check yourselfs.

I think the 3GS may have faster top speed internet but no noticable in the uk (unless through Wifi)as the average 3G speed is around 3Mbs again dont quote me on this just throwing a couple of stats out there for people to agree or correct.

Tell me about it, noticed someone on the first page asked where the european commision were when RBS was taking over Abn Amro?

Prob nowhere as it was a coalition of 3 banks that took over ABN Amro (RBS Santander and Fortis) sweeping statements form the ill informed eh!

Same things said on the Tesco getting iphone thread "02 wont allow them to do this etc" why? its 50-50 owned so as long as Tesco dont break the contract with 02 on the network side then theres not alot 02 can do......
