ouch, hope you're ok! They've been spreading salt like it's going out of fashion on random pavements in and around town today, but haven't done high foot traffic ones, completely crazy.
Well done on the lunch front! It can be so tempting when you're in the shop but so long as you manage to get something made I think it gets easier. I got mine bought for me today, the hot pasty was much appreciatedThink the oh is angling for brownie points, or possibly trying to get out of taking me to see New Moon in the cinema this week :rotfl:
I've done a big list on ebay over the last few days, took me forever and think it'll only bring in pennies, but at least we're giving it a go.The debtWILLbegone - taking it 1% at a time

lol, that reminded me of the Billy Connolly I saw the other night, whenever you trip you do that running thing afterwards to make it look like you meant it. Though his description was :rotfl:
The town centre's alright, a few wee icy spots on the pavement today but it'll probably all be gone by tomorrow. The further out you go the worse it gets though, bayhead was a tad on the icy side, it's kind of crunchy now so not as bad to walk on.
If you want a really clean pavement though, both sides outside the council offices are 100% clear with the ten tonnes of salt that went on them on Monday morning
I've got the day off tomorrow :j Have spotted a couple of random boxes lurking about the house, stuff people have cleared out of their rooms but that hasn't managed to leave the house so I'm going to have a gander through it all see if there's anything worth giving a whirl at sellingThe debtWILLbegone - taking it 1% at a time

thanks. I was going to head into boots for the sale but looks like its been cancelled!
Hope you have a good day off!0 -
I haven't been in boots in donkeys, contemplated it today but didn't
It's so strange having a day off and not having to do anything, I get ants in my pants and want to do stuff
Spent £10.82 in town today, got myself hair-dye (my roots are seriously awful and the colour's fading, so I fancied treating myself, esp with it being on sale) painkillers and some other things. Then I spent £3.25 on stuff to resell. Won't make megabucks from it, hopefully looking for a tenner profit, we shall see.
The pavements eveyrwhere are clear now purple, they're just covered in an inch of salt, my boots are manky after walking round
Have made my lunch for tomorrow and just off to list a couple of things to sell! The debtWILLbegone - taking it 1% at a time

 hello!
Ooops, not posted here in a few dayshave been super busy.
Anyhoo, won £5 today on jpj. Going to do the free game tomorrow, see if I can get anymore from it this week then if I'm still below the £10 withdrawl limit I'll see if I can get it up by playing some pay games.
Have watchers on most of my ebay stuff, not that that means anything  and bids on a few totalling just over £20.
Also have a mass of stuff ready for listing tomorrow, might as well give it a whirl!
Have been keeping up with the NSD's but apart from that not much else to mention moneywise
So glad the snow and ice has finally gone, was driving me insane :laugh:The debtWILLbegone - taking it 1% at a time

Well I won another couple of quid today, still pondering what to do with it, might give it till end of next week and see!
Another nsd, have upped my target from 15 to 25  but needs must
Busy listing away on ebay right now, I know it's not the best time to do it, but it's worth a shot and once they're all on there it's just a matter of re-listing so if stuff doesn't sell, nothings lostThe debtWILLbegone - taking it 1% at a time

25 nsds this month!! good luck! (Just realised that sounds really sarcastic its not meant to
)
How's your listing going? I'm up to 35 new listings. I think I am starting to go slightly mad. But i'm watching an old series of 24 which i think is helping.0 -
Morning DBG and purple,
Just checking in, its good to see you are both carrying on regardless off that horrible weather. Its all gone here and life has returned to normality. Have officially declared myself skint until the end of the month. Hoping to get at least 4 NSD this week as I really can't afford to spend anymore money....
Oh well I'm sure I'll make it through 10 days till payday
Good luck with the 25 NSD (there is no way i would ever manage that, not yet anyway)
Take Care
DuckieTo be figured out!0 -
Yup, 25  I've worked out that I've only been spending around twice a week (I don't count my dd's but do count fuel and anything else) and there's 13 days left of the month which gives me two days to spend on till the end on Jan!
Wow, well done on the 35 purple, I managed 14 before the OH came around, nowhere near as many as I wanted. Going to try do a few every day, try get some dosh in and some clutter out before the move! Doh! You just reminded me I forgot to pick up season 6 from his tonight. I was late to 24, only started watching a few months ago and have made my way through seasons 1-5. He loves it so will be vanishing on Sunday evenings for the next forever :rotfl:at least it it'll give me some ebay time!
Hey duckie! I'm so glad the weathers gone, zapped my motivationIt's surprising what you can do if you really put your mind to it. For me 25 is achievable, as right now I'm still living at home, and just remembering to take my lunch with me to work everyday to avoid the temptation. It's really sunk in now too that I just want shot of this darn debt so I'm going to try my hardest, even when it means selling bits and pieces for a few quid here and there as it will all add up, as will all the overtime hours put in at work, fingers crossed!
Wow, big post, sorry! Swithering whether to try get a couple more listings done before I sit down to watch glee on e4+1, what to do, eep!The debtWILLbegone - taking it 1% at a time
