I don't eat cereal, but watering down full fat milk is ok. Mentioned quite often on the old style board.

How much you water it down will depend on your taste, so experiment. Try a small amount, maybe an egg cup full and add the same amount of water and drink it. You will then know whether to try more, or less water next time.

My nearest Aldi is in London, but thank you anyway.

    Hi MrsE,

I know the area you live in quite well and I'm sure that there's an aldi much closer than London so hopefully you should be able to pick some up there.

Just checked my nearest is in Croydon-London still, thats over 12 miles away.

But it does say one is comming to about 6 miles away soon - be great people on here often talk about the unusual things they buy there - specials.

Still not worth the extra miles for a normal shop (when it opens) just to save a few pence on milk though.

They must have opened some because I looked before after reading something on here & the nearest was Catford I think (which is a long way away).

    Thank you.
  • Ok not wanting to sound thick but what is homogonise? What difference does it make to the milk if it has/hasn't been homogonised?

I ask because I bought some yeovalley organic milk yesterday and that said it has been pasterised and homogonised on the label? Is this a good thing or is it better not to have been homogonised
    Nothing to report:p

If milk isn't homogenized the fat/cream tends to collect at the top of the bottle, whereas if it has been homogenized the fat/cream is evenly dispersed throughout the contents and does not collect at the top of the bottle.
