It is a mailing address surrounded by jewellers shops hence ideal for a scam.

But what kind of scam takes 1800 quid of you and then just fails to refund 250?

Tbh I think its more a case of the owner has got into financial trouble and wound the business down.

Scams don't usually register with Co House either (albeit with providing returns for last year but how many other companies are in that boat anyway.)

If it was a scam surely i wouldnt have received anything?

I seem to remember something about it being an internet company anyway but Im not sure who I remember that from anyway.

Trust me, looking at the ring its genuine.

Once they had the money I wouldnt have heard anything surely but I spoke to them a few times after I had the ring for various things like insurance documents and stuff.

When my boyfriend chose the original ring i didnt like he chose a large diamond in a small ring and they mocked up a picture of what it would look like and advised him against it. It just seems too elaborate for fraudsters - wouldnt they just take the money and run?

Anyway, we are only 250 down not the full funds - valuation pending :rotfl:

    Hi di

Do you have any contact names and I can try and find any connected companies? Is the name listed on the fb link a contact that you had?

I will have to log into my fellas email account to remember the name i was dealing with.

The name mentioned in an earlier post Richard someone is one i recognise though - think he was the owner.

  • Hi di7868
Did you check that your ring was real in the end? I have a ring from Icediamond and am a bit worried now that I can't find their website anymore. Also, have you made any progress following your last post on this forum?
    Thanks
    Jon
