Paranoid much?
Uncalled for!!!
Why post just to be a snidey get?
Some people don't have anything to hide, think that comment says more about you than the OP...
OP, very strange, never heard of this happening before, obviously doesnt look like your going to get the £250.
Do let us know if you get any joy though0 -

The contact would appear to be that of a PR agency or similar - may be worth a call to them.
Good luck
Thanks a lot, I spoke to the PR company a few weeks ago and they said they havent dealt with them for about 6 months. I recognise a name on that group though from an email and i am this close to emailing their page and asking whats happened!!!!
I dont know if im being a bit dim but is it usual for a jewellers to have a PR company?
Sorry i should have mentioned what i have done, i have tried so many avenues with this that i have forgot what i have done and havent. I dont mean to sound like im wasting everyones time with this.
Thanks for your help xx0 -

No I havent yet! Thats the scary bit.
Ring looks fab, have showed it loads of people and had no comments like that. Got an insurance certificate and everything. And at the end of the day if they were going to scam my fella wouldnt we have just received nothing? Or at least a really crap copy.
His mums big on expensive jewelry and she says its definately not a fake!
No green finger either, but i will get it valued independantly!!0 -

Its such a stigma isn't it that opening post, reading emails/texts is forbidden?
As i said my fella works away a lot I have POA on his affairs and have sold property for him in the past so I keep an eye on both mine and his inboxes and post to deal with things for him.
On the other hand you would think he had more sense then to not delete the email really!!!
I would never dream of finding anything suspect in his emails, and I know he reads mines cos Im usually there and hes asking me questions about what things are about!!!0 -

Hmm, just taken a look on Googlemaps and that building has a small collection of jewellery outlets on the ground floor...
E Katz & Co Ltd - The Hatton Garden Jewellers
Fine Jewels
Solitaire Jewellers - Antique Jewellers
Georges - Antique & Modern Jewels
D.Shem-Tov - Antique & Modern Jewellery
L Fox & Co
The upper floors appear to be offices - possibly empty, as visible "to let" signs at the time."Part P" is not, and has never been, an accredited electrical qualification. It is a Building Regulation. No one can be "Part P qualified."

Some people obviously just don't have that kind of relationship, it makes sense that you deal with things for him when he's away such a lot, as I said, kinda says more about the person that made that comment in the first place. That and the fact they didn't even contribute to the thread, just posted to be snidey  nice person...0 -
Thats a good idea thanks, I will try street view I never thought of that!!
No im not in London, if its near you that would be great but dont go out of your way for me.

Hi di
Do you have any contact names and I can try and find any connected companies? Is the name listed on the fb link a contact that you had?The shinbone is a device for finding furniture in a dark room.:TBig thanks to all competition posters:T0 -
if you are lucky - inside the ring will be a hallmark , if you call the assey office in london they will tell you the manufacturer of the ring based on the hallmark. It may be the same company under a different name.0
