In simple language, does the price promise mean that on day of release they will match the lowest price that other firms charge for the same cd?
dont worry, just searched thread. shame that would have been good if that was what the price promise meant!0 -
I think the amazon price promise means that if they put the price down on the date it comes out, that is the price you pay, not that they match other shops prices.I presume this is what Tesco's means too.

It says in the T&C that the 500 points will only count once for each unique title, multiple copies of the same will not get 500 points each.
Hope this helps in case any one was thinking of ordering lots of the same to get lots of points!!
I've copied the blurb below:
500 extra Clubcard points (Extra Points) will not be shown in the online basket at the checkout. They will be will be awarded in the February Clubcard Statement Extra Points will be awarded for each unique title purchased from the promotion title range. Multiple purchases of the same title will not be eligible for Extra Points. Extra Points will not be awarded for orders cancelled by you or where you return promotional titles. This does not affect your statutory rights. The Extra points promotion is for personal use only and Tesco Entertainment reserve the right to withdraw or amend this promotion where we reasonably suspect abuse0 -
There were no T&C's to be found anywhere, the above have appeared all of a sudden.0

I must admit i ordered three of the same dvds for relatives for xmas prezzies, so i will be well cheesed off if they have just thrown it on. So back to the question "does anyone have an original screen shot please"0
-
Thanks, this was a brilliant deal for me. I used it the full 10 times and got some lightweight pressies to send to overseas relatives.
For all the people having problems, is this site operated by the "real" Tesco, or a ghost company behind the name. The reason why I say is that I usually make all my purchases on American Express (cashback) with Tesco and with Tesco Entertainment, it wasn't accepted.
I cant be certain but i think prior to last weeks website change, in the small print of tescoentertainment, com, it mentioned somewhere about thehut.com. I can no longer find anything but did see that thehut operate from St.Helier Jersey as well as Tesco.
UPDATE the following links confirms it is thehut group that run the Tesco site.

I can't remember seeing this on the original screen shot, as anybody got an original screen shot, i may be wrong but it looks as though they have thrown this on all of a sudden
Yes, I've got a copy of the original screen shot, dated 6th November at 13.18pm and the terms and conditions that were at the bottom on a tab. I also raised an incident no. at the time, getting their agreement to pay me 500 points per item ordered, before I ordered, they put this in writing too. Customer Services were giving out completely different information to different callers, and I didn't want to take any chances.
These T&C's are a new addition and are open to a challenge, if an order was placed before they were inserted.I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.0 -

Just go to the tesco entertainment home, click on the banner, then click on "cds" "dvds" or whatever else you want.
Transformers ain't on the list though...0 -
Would have been nice if they'd added some more on as there were only 2 CD's worth getting (For me,) yet there are loads of other good ones around/coming out soon! Oh well, you can't have it all! Thought the range of DVD's was pretty good have ordered 3 so far but tempted to order another couple.0
