Oh, OK. well we made it back safely with our newly aquired second hand gym equipment! the A14, M1, A50, M6 route was perfect, no hold ups. took 4 hours from Ipswich rather then 4.5 - 5 hours via A14, M6. So thank you to everyone for alternative suggestions!0
