    :hello: I'm back!

Mystery of the missing keys probably solved - When DH got back from the surgery he put his own keys on the bookcase, then picked up the mail which was sticking out of the letter box. We think DS's keys must have got caught in the cuff of DH's fleece and then ended up in among the mail :p that's a relief, I was thinking I must have put them on the sofa without realising what I was doing.

Snoozer- So sorry to hearabout your MIL xx

Penny_Pincher - big (gentle) ((((HUGS))) to you

Jayne and George - Will be thinking of you tomorrow xx

bargainbird - Glad all went ok for your DBIL. How lovely that his friends escorted him!

haribo junkie - Hope you are ok where you are and not flooded out

I managed not to fall over on the way to the baker's this morning - I did lose my balance once, but luckily there was a garden wall handy ;)

Dinner will be mince and tatties from the freezer. I gave DD1 the larger helping of the lamb and squash curry left over from last week, as there was really too much for the two of us, and some cayenne pepper in case DSIL decides the curry isn't hot enough for him. They're having it for dinner tonight so I hope they'll enjoy it as much as we did :D

Visiting DD1 and family tomorrow so will see DGS in his new glasses. DD says he's been really good about keeping them on, but they keep slipping down his little nose, so he will probably need a band round the back of his head to keep them in place.

    (((HUGS))) to all xx

Snoozer sorry to hear your bad news, your family are in my thoughts.

I'm definately full of a cold :( and my back still has painful twinges. But I had a fun day at work. I took my young people to the local fire station and we got to play at being firemen for the day :D Although standing outdoors in the cold and drizzle plus playing with hoses probably hasn't done my cold any good ;)! My team really enjoyed, and were well behaved all day, which is a first! I was dreading it this morning as half have ADHD and really have issues concentrating but they were all great :D. I forgot to make up a packed lunch for the day yesterday as I was ill and hungover, and had no bread made, but had a rummage in freezer and found a whoopsied cheese pasty (19p!) and slice of HM banana cake, so had that plus fruit :)

I have loaded DW and WM ready to put on in early hours for cheap electricity usage. I'm also going to prep ingredients for the BM too which will go on early hours too. Dinner is going to be a HM freezer meal of veggie curry, rice and bahjees (these aren't HM though). I think I may need to use the heating soon too as it's definately turned chilly here, but I may try go a bit longer without it on.

Looking forward to vegging out to Flashforward later

    Have a good evening all

    Hi everyone.

So sorry to hear your terrible news Snoozer. Take care. xx
Thinking of you and little George, Cranky. xx
I'm fine thanks Ivyleaf. We're on the West Coast so unnaffected. ;) Our house flooded terribly when Pink and I were young and I feel for the poor people affected by this one. I hope Twink is okay.

Manic day here. Had a huge clean up of the house and did a bit of paperwork for OH. Also revised our November budget to adjust for all the clients who haven't paid OH.
Tea was freezer surprise so the girls had fajitas and rice, I had steak and kidney and OH will have chilli and spuds when he gets in. I love HM ready meals. :D
Got more Clubcard vouchers today and got 3 more magazine subscriptions. So thats 5 subscription Christmas presents so far, to the value of nearly £190 for nothing. :money:

Need to collect the girls from Brownies in a bit and then do lunches etc and hit the hay early. ;)

Snoozer - so sorry to hear of your loss :( My thoughts are with you at this difficult time.
PP - I hope you feel better soon

This evening I've come home from work feeling motivated and have done 45 minutes boxercise from a DVD, prepped tea (currently in oven) and am awaiting DH's return so we can eat. For the first time in ages I feel organised and here's to it continuing :)

Tea tonight is a pasta bake made from leftover chilli reheated and mixed with pasta, with grated cheese on top. Simple but nice :)

Looking forward to Flashforward later, and also the Gadget Show. Take care everyone

    (((hugs)))

    Hi everyone,

Not posted for a few days because we've had a traumatic time. MIL who was staying with us was taken ill and went into hospital on Friday morning. She died early yesterday morning. DH and the children are devastated, it's not realy hit me yet - I go into coping mode and then have a melt down usually a few days later.

Not a lot of osiness going on apart from making scratch meals form the freezer.

Sorry to hear of your loss snoozer :(
