    Hi Folks,
Hope you are all doing ok this morning?
Its a lovely bright day here at the moment. DS3 has walked doggies (strong smell of wet dog though) and all four kids have left the building on their way to school/college :j :j:j ......and breathe....and chilllllllll.......

OS plans....washing and cleaner today. Must turn my thoughts to Christmas presents at some point soon. Will post later when I have more to say.
Hope its not a manic monday,
    Love Molly

  • Morning Guys!

Sorry I havent posted much but the last week we have had alot on our plates:rolleyes:.....TBH, I am fed up with it all and would love to curl up in a corner and tell the whole world to b***er off.

We got back last Monday and its just been one thing after another with 3 hospital visits etc. My hair has also started to fall out and is very thin with the medication I am on. I need putting down!

DD had a good time on holiday but we didnt much. I was quite ill so spent most of the time indoors as it was also wet and damp.

Just waiting on nurse to come. Having a quiet day today as still not feeling well.

    Hope you are all well.

    Morning all.

Have been busy this morning sorting out our stuff for the Spanish event tomorrow. This one has taken quite a bit of thought - and some appreciative help from NoahsPenilessMummy :)

I'm just printing out the worksheets I have made now, then, apart from the gazpacho, which we will be making this afternoon, everything's ready.

So far this morning, I have made some porridge, made a loaf in the BM and put the WM on. We're out for a few hours today, as the girls stat their fencing course this afternoon, so I've got a pork joint to go in the SC. Not sure what we will have with it yet - perhaps couscous for myself and DD2 and pasta for DD1.

Going to wake DDs up now, to kick start their day. DD1 especially, doesn't like getting up early, so will probably have a few moans - especially when I turn her light on :D

Have a good day all and ((((HUGS)))) to those who need or want one :)

Sorry to hear you're not well PP. Hope you feel a bit better soon.

    Morning all

Have woken up today to some sunshire, much nicer than yesterday! Have got a line of washing out already - I'm not sure that it will dry but we can only hope! Will need to put the BM on in a bit as no HM bread left, felt very good mum as sent kids with some HM biscuits in their lunchbags today! I'm going to continue sorting DS2's bedroom today - seem to be getting nowhere fast - but really need to get on top of it today as want to photograph and get stuff on ebay asap, and get down the tip with anything that needs to go. Have meal planned for this week, but am not that happy with it as we seem to have got in a rut with the food that we are eating, same old things so need to find some nice recipes. I didn't lose any weight last week, but have ordered a fitness dvd so once this arrives I will be doing that, have lost 2 stone without doing any exercise so I musn't grumble, but am still very determined and still have enough time left before Xmas to lose what I want, just need to do it!
Now going to put BM on, make a coffee and get up into DS2's bedroom to continue clear out.
Keep safe and well everyone, hugs to those that need them.

    Morning all,

PP - sorry you're not feeling well :grouphug:

Have just got into work after the commute from hell. I remember now what it was like and why I felt so spoiled being able to walk to work from my flat! Sincerely tempted not to play this morning

DH presented me with a beautiful eternity ring on Sunday - a belated anniversary present (belated because of the hallmarkers, not DH being tardy!) - can't see myself getting much done today because I keep staring at it :grinheart

Have to get the family organised for Christmas today. There's quite a few of us to buy presents for so I collate a list of gifts that people would like and maintain it, sending updates to everyone on a weekly basis. I'm pretty sure my BIL can work the same sort of magic on a spreadsheet as I can, but he's playing dumb so my responsibility again this year

DH and I have L/O curry for our lunches today and dinner tonight will either be bubble & squeak depending on whether Mum and Dad want to eat with us) or something mince based (probably chilli) if they don't.

Ooo yeah, any ideas on what to sew a button back onto a wool coat with? I'm guessing wool rather than cotton?

Hope everyone has a great day and is even half as excited about Christmas as I am :j(it is November after all). Hugs all round

    xx

  • Morning!
I can hardly keep my eyes open. I had a visitor last night and so didn't get to bed until 1am (10pm's a late night for me!!) DD woke me at 7.05 and I've done nothing but drink coffee and surf so far!! Training day at school today so we are going swimming and having lunch after. If I manage to get my backside off the sofa and get some chicken out to defrost we will be having chicken, rice and veges for tea. Need to buy some fruit (netto) and some cheap gammon (Mr S basics) to cook for packed lunches-really tasty and its so much cheaper than decent deli counter ham. I think they have stew packs of veges 2 for 1 in netto this week as well so may get some for soup.
Penny Pincher sorry you are feeling so low.
Cranky will be thinking about you tomorrow.
Hugs to all that would like one.

My first day as a SAHM (temporary if the job applications pay off). I'm trying to juggle fresh starts with GC, weightloss, decluttering and domestic-goddess-iness and thought I'd better start with an hour's 'research' online!;)

My boys are still on half term for three days though and if they carry on scrapping, shouting and wrestling like they have for the past hour I'm likely to abandon all attempts at clean slates for the time being. One of them is currently 'decluttering' my car to pay me back a few pennies but the other resolutely refuses to do anything about housework, even though I understand that he did a great job helping Grandma clean the church last week!:A

DH is home late tonight but he's got high expectations of walking into a transformed home, with a working dishwasher (it packed up three weeks ago and I was too busy finishing my job to get it sorted out), curtains that fit our windows and a date for carpet cleaning. Perhaps if I do a big jar of Twinks he won't notice the other stuff!

Best get on then ...! Have a wonderful day everyone. At some stage I'll read through properly and get to know you all!

Hi allnot been on much over the weekend so hope everyone is ok-pp -just read that you're not well, and i had noticed you werent around much so hope you improve soon.

Cranky & George-will be thinking of you tomorrow (((Hugs)))

DH and I went to Costco yesterday to replenish our meat stock,so I have been trying to sort out the chest freezer, but tbh it looks worse now :rotfl:with less room.I ran out of time,so only the bottom half has been inventoried (is that a word?) and will have another go in a bit.I was trying to either put things in bags or baskets to make getting to the bottom easier, but it has cut down the space, and as I will be bulk cooking some of the meat I need more not less. They had a good offer on chickens if you had a voucher,so got 4 for just over £6.

I need to keep my afternoons free at the mo as I am doing some sewing on of labels for DS1s fledgling part time business. He's still applying for jobs- its more than 2 weeks since the interview he felt quite positive about-heard nothing. He rang up the agency it was through, they'd had positive feedback but the client still hadn't made his mind up

Right ,better get on, 'see' you soon.x
