ok what is it with OHs - this is how things went this morning, I am in bed, OH enters the room:

"good job I went downstairs first this morning" smug
    "why" me
"because you would have seen the big dead rat on the floor" (I am really rat phobic)
"look" showing me a picture of a dead rat on my camera. Doooh...............

So now I get an email

"can you email me the dead rat picutres, they are on your camera"

So how is any of that helping me and why does he need an email of them - he seriously is worse than all 3 boys!

  • Well done Quillion on your 1,500th post!!

    Hello again fellow flyers!

I know I haven't mentioned it for a while but my dearest friend Tristan is having an operation today (he is 8 hrs behind us over there). I won't bore you with the details but there is a danger it may not give the positive result we want or worst case scenario, he may not actually wake up again once under..

BUT I know he will, and would just like to ask for the usual amazing support I know you can all give him. I haven't read the thread to know if anyone else is in need today (sorry) but if I could ask you amazing flyladies to light a candle or send some positive thoughts out there, I would be grateful. If the operation is successful then he will gain some more time and that is very precious to him and his family and me.. and some of you know how much he means to me.

    Thank you so much

Please excuse me if I am a bit over emotional with my prose but I only had about four hrs sleep on and off and I am running on adrenalin and sugar. :rotfl:(bit like a fractious two year old!)
To be frugal, you need to spend money wisely, simply spending less is not enough.

Thanks rosepink :) I am trying to keep smiling. DH hasn't used the light box all weekend, or yesterday as we were away, but he has used it this morning so I am hopeful he will pick up again soon.

DK I have hired a light box. It is expensive but cheaper than buying. I used your link-thanks. I found the SAD website and went for one that they recommended.
I had a manic hour cleaning but DH has persuaded me to stop. I will have a break for lunch then get back to cleaning. Sticky cupboard next.

MSDiva I am praying for your friend.

I need to write menu list for the month and put in an order to MrA and butcher.
