Thanks rosepink :) I am trying to keep smiling. DH hasn't used the light box all weekend, or yesterday as we were away, but he has used it this morning so I am hopeful he will pick up again soon.
I need to use mine more often, I'm a bit hit and miss with it. The trouble is that I'm waiting for DH to change the bulbs in it, not sure how much benefit I'm going to get with these really old bulbs. I hope your DH is going to be pick up when he gets into a proper routine of using the lightbox.
Rose you are doing a grand job...looked at your pics....if you feel up to a trip out you know where I am xx
I will PM you with potential dates, when I've found my diary, it's temporarily missing!

I've got lots of jiffy bags and bubblewrap stuff behind the TV that I've saved from when I've been sent packages. I cleared out a cupboard to put it all in, and its now full! Do you think that I should keep the rest of it, or is a cupboard full enough, bearing in mind that I'm trying to sell stuff on ebay. Maybe I should hang on to it for a while longer, just in case, and set myself a time limit on how long I will keep it - if I've not needed it in 3 months then I will get rid of it. What do you think?

Afternoon plans have changed as I have been offered a lift to Mr T. I will do some recycling at the same time and get rid of more detritus from the house.

  • Afternoon ladies!:hello:

I've not been posting for a bit because I have such a massive decluttering job to day in this house of doom, that I thought it best to concentrate on that first, as I was not even able to do Level 1...:o:o Did a massive sorting out of paperwork yesterday afternoon, but also more to do there

Anyway I now feel quite positive about getting rid of things (always a major thing for me, don't know why) it just takes forever - could never run around with a binbag, it would not work for me.

But have been sorting books a bit, and will give Amazon a go, fingers crossed for some results.

Diva positive vibes for your friend Tris and (((9hugs))) for you

Jo gorgeous doggie, he looks a handsome dude!

On another note, does anyone know why I can't see my card reader on this computer as no problems at work before. Tried to install it as new hardware but no good. Do you think I need a driver? (am a bit innocent in these matters and always relied on colleagues to help me out :rotfl:) Or I suppose I could buy a wire to go direct from camera to computer? Advice please ladies

It's pouring here as well, got soaked when I went to A**i on foot.

Will try and post later with update

Tooch (and anyone else looking for the odd few extra hours of work) - it occurred to me yesterday evening while I was at my meeting. Have you thought of clerking for school governors? Have a look on your county council website and see what you think.

Time off in lieu of travel booked. Just waiting for a response from family so I can try to book Christmas

    Hiya
Really quick post just to let you know that the hospital are doing further tests for celiac disease and/or peptic ulcer. They're still waiting for the biopsy to come back but initial blood tests indicate it might be celiacs. We'll have to wait and see. In the meantime I mustn't change his diet as that would give false negatives.

Now i've got to fly round the house and tidy up a bit before I do the school run.

Hugs to those in need xxx
